Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge-"To Die For!"

Bet my title got your attention didn't it?! I want to welcome you to another fabulous challenge with the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team. Our theme this time is "To Die For!". Guess you are wondering what we mean by that. We are showcasing either a card, layout or craft project for Christmas using 'die cuts' from a manual or electronic cutting machine. And that's what we would love for you to do so you can enter our challenge. Please make a new project (no back links) and come play along with us. You will have until noon, Thursday, December 6th to link. And while you are visiting over at Mary's Place, take a look at what my wonderful DT Sisters have created for inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!!!!! Now one lucky person will win one of Mary's awesome stamp sets. Go check them out here. I'll wait for ya.............See, I told you they are awesome!!!

For my card today, I used one of my most favorite cartridges. Teddy Bear Parade. I cut the darling Sugar Plum Fairy. She is most adorable!!! I cut everything at 3.5 inches. I coated her wings with sugar coating lily white glitter. I love the shimmer it gave them. I coated the heart and star on the fairy wand with stickles. I failed to write down which one I used. Then I coated her eyes, nose, bows/ribbon and the bottom of her little dress in glossy accents. I finished her off with just a little bit of doodling with my gelly roll pen. The bg designer paper is from October Afternoon. My sentiments on the front and on the inside are from the Holly Jolly stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I used some bling from studio g that I picked up at walmart. And guess what?! She is on an action wobble!!!!! If you haven't ever used any of these, you just don't know what you are missing!!! They make your cards and projects so much fun!!! You can pick them up at The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Shoppe.
Well, that's it for me. Now it is your turn. Head off to you crafty space and create a new project and then go link it so we can come by and admire it. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Happy Birthday

Can you believe that this is the last Saturday of November. Thanksgiving has passed. Hope ya'll had a wonderful one. Ours was awesome!! And now we are heading and may I say 'way to fast' toward Christmas! And no, I didn't make a Christmas card for my Daily Project for Exploring Cricut. I'm trying to get a head start on my 2013 Birthday cards. I decided to use my Create-a-Critter 2 cartridge. I'm loving this cartridge as much as I do the Teddy Bear Parade one! I cut the Party Lion on page 78 at 3.50 inches. I also cut the flag. I cut it at 3.25 inches. I did some doodling, used some glossy accents and on the top of the party hat, I used some Diamond Stickles. The sentiment that I stamped on the flag is from the Happy Days stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
If you haven't entered our Count Your Blessings challenge yet, you still have time. Just link up by 9pm, EST, tonight. Also, make sure you check out the daily projects that my DT Sister's and Brother present each day. You won't be sorry. Their inspiration is awesomeness for sure!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)
I don't have a picture of the inside. I could not get a good one at all. The lighting in my crafty room does funny things from time to time and this was one of them. I added a party hat inside.

Christmas is in the Air

This month over at SKdigis-Sonia, Sonia is having a linking party. You have all month to enter the challenge. It is an Anything Goes made with SKdigis as the Main image. When Sonia put this darling reindeer in the store I just had to purchase it! Isn't he so adorable?! I colored him up with my copics, added some red Spica glitter pen to his little nose and finished him off with googly eyes. I then cut him out so I could pop him up on one thickness of foam tape. The bg paper is open stock from Paper Studio(Hobby Lobby). The sentiment on the front is from the A Holiday to Remember stamp set from Scrappy Mom's. The inside sentiment is from the Christmas Joy stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I finished off my card by adding some little metal nailheads to the sentiment piece and in two corners, on the front and inside. I hope ya'll like my card!! :)

Get Well Soon

Happy Monday everyone!! Can you believe that is almost Thanksgiving already?! I'm so looking forward to it myself. Bet you are, too! Since this is the 3rd Monday of the month it means it is time for a new challenge at Paper Playtime. This on is the Say It With Sentiments challenge. And it is an 'Anything Goes' challenge! Don't cha just love those?! Our sponsor for this challenge is the awesome The Robins Nest. One lucky person will receive a $15 Gift Certificate. There is some great stuff to choose from. Head over and check them out.
I have to admit that I had made a project for this challenge and totally failed to get pictures! I made these really cute tags, attached them to their gifts and failed to photograph them. Bummer!!! Then I had a great idea in my head. It was only great there. Wasn't going so great after I got the cuts made and started putting it together. So back to the drawing board. My Secret Sister at Church got really sick. I made her a card and I decided to showcase it for our challenge. I have something else to admit about this challenge. I didn't use my Cricut! I know!!! I used my Big Kick and Spellbinders Nestabilities-Dahlia instead. The card is a standard A2 size. The designer paper that I used for the bg and the Dahlia in the back is from Donna Salazar. The blue Dahlia and the card base is from Paper Studio(HL). The Bible Verse is from Dee's Bugaboo Boutique. I so love how she has designed the Bible Verses. And she offers them for free. The faux pearls are from Prima. The sentiments on the inside are from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. They are from Mary's new stamp set 'Heartfelt Wishes'. I know I will be pulling this set out often. Head over to Mary's place and look at the other new sets she has in her store.
We sure hope you will join us for this challenge. You have until noon, EST, November 29th to link up your creation. Just make sure it is a new project. No back links please. Also please leave a link back to Paper Playtime so others can come by and hopefully decide to play along with us. So looking forward to seeing what ya'll create!!
While you are over at Paper Playtime check out what my fabulous DT Sisters have made for your enjoyment. Awesomeness for sure!!!!
If I don't see ya again this week, I just want to wish everyone a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!!!
Hope ya'll like my card! :)

Count You Blessings

I'm so excited to be sharing my card with you that I made for our new challenge at Exploring Cricut. Our challenge is to make a card, layout or papercraft celebrating Thanksgiving. This year Thanksgiving is really special to me. Just every so many years, my birthday falls the day before. Never on Thanksgiving. I was born the day before so when it falls like this, it is really special to me. Now I'm not tellin' ya how old I am, but I will say that I am not a spring chicken!! Okay, enough about me. Let me tell you about my card. I used the wonderful Teddy Bear Parade cartridge to make my turkey. I'm so loving this cartridge. I cut my turkey bear and it's 'outfit' at 3.5 inches. I put it together, did a little bit of doodling and glossy accenting and guess what else?! I put it on an action wobble!!! Yes!!! I so love these things. You can purchase them here in the Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Shoppe. The bg paper is open stock from Hobby Lobby. The buttons are Studio g from Walmart. I put my sentiment on the inside. It is from the Thankful for You stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. Head over and check out the inspiration my DT Sister's and Brother have made for you to enjoy. Awesomeness for sure!! And now head to your crafty space and make a project celebrating Thanksgiving. Make sure it is a new project (no back links please) and link it up by 9pm, EST, Saturday, November 24th. Oh, and the most important thing of all is have a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Get Your Jingle On

Thank goodness it's Friday!!! I'm off this weekend and sooooo looking forward to it!! I have an awesome weekend planned, too! Whoo Hoo!!! And ya know what else is good about today?! There is a new challenge starting at Cardz TV featuring the awesome Cardz TV Stamps Design Team. We are so excited to share our 'Scene It!' projects for you. And we would love for you to join in on our challenge. Just create a card, layout or craft project with a scene for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Our challenge runs from today through noon, EST, Thursday, November 22nd. Ohhhhh-that's Thanksgiving!!
For my project today I made a layout page. Yes-a layout page!!! I know!!! I usually always make cards. But not this time!! Now I have to forewarn you. I am not really good at making layouts. I see all these that have beautiful flowers and all of these great cuts on them. I never seem to be able to get them to look that good. So I just go simple. My bg cardstock is from graphic 45-Christmas Past Collection. It's from 2009. Yeah, I tend to hoard the pieces that I really really love! I thought this piece was just perfect for my background. I then got on my Gypsy Girl and started designing my page. I decided to use the Christmas
cartridge. I cut the tree that can be found in the #21 spot on the overlay and the set of trees that is in the #43 spot on the overlay. I cut both at 5 inches. I hid the Star on the shift of the big tree, but cut the pieces for the snow on the tree. I coated the snow pieces and the ground piece for the set of trees with a Zig Two Way Glue Pen and sprinkled some Sugar Coating Lily White Glitter on them. I added a little bit up the sides of the trees, too. I popped them up on my page using one thickness of foam tape. I then cut the Santa and moon that is in the #9 spot on the overlay. I cut them at 2.5 inches. I glued these peices down. For my sentiment pieces I pulled out my Spellbinders Nested Pennants and cut two different sizes. My sentiments are from the Christmas Joy stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I used my Sakura Gelly Roll Clear Star Pen to do a little highlighting on the Joy and my Sakura Gelly Roll White Pen to do the faux stitching around the pennants. I then popped them up with one thickness of foam tape. To finish my layout page I cut my photo mat from the Lacy Labels cartridge. It can be found at the #31 spot on the overlay. I cut it and it's shadow at 3 inches. That's it!! A real simple layout page. I sure hope ya'll like it!!
Don't forget to head to your crafty space and create a 'new' project to enter our challenge Who knows, you just might be the lucky ducky to win a set of Mary's awesome stamps!! Just link your creation by noon, EST, Thanksgiving Day!! And while you are there make sure you check out all of the creations my DT Sisters have made for inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!!!!
I wish each of you a very Happy and Blessed Thanksgiving!!!! :)

Gooble Gooble

Hello everyone!!! Hope ya'll had a wonderful day. I have a card to share with you today. I am entering it into the new Bitten By The Bug 2 challenge. It is to use a Cricut cut turkey on your project. I used the turkey on the Simply Charmed cart. It can be found on page 61. I designed my card on my Gypsy Girl so I could hid tick marks and the eye cutouts. I also cut some extra of the feather feature in smaller sizes. I cut the legs off of them. I didn't glue down the 'arms' so I could pulled them forward. I added some little googly eyes. And to finish off my turkey, I put him on an action wobble!!! Yes I did!!!! You can get some action woobles of you own right here.  My sentiments on the front and on the inside are from the Thankful for You stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. Well, that's it. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Bananas 4 U

Hello all my crafty Friends!!! Hope your week is off to a good start. I was off work, so mine started out great!! I made one card today. Yeah, just one. I do have a few more in the works though. For my card I used the Create A Critter 2 cartridge. I cut the banana and phrase from page 34. The banana was cut at 5 inches and the phrase was cut at 1.75 inches. The pattern designer papers are from Simply Fun by reminisce paper pad. I did some doodling with my clear star pen and used some glossy accents on the '4'. And I put my banana on an action wooble!!! Yeah I did!!! :) Now if you would like to have some of these awesome little inventions just head over to The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Shoppe and pick some up. They are so very much fun!!!
I am entering my card in the challenge at Wooble Wednesday Challenge. They are asking for wobbling food. I think my banana fits the bill. Their challenge doesn't end until Nov. 13. I'm sure they would love if you dropped by and entered.
I hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Happy first Monday of November!! Loved seeing all of your creations for last weeks Anything Goes challenge. Aren't those so much fun?! For our new Die Cut Creations challenge we are asking for you to make a new project using some kind of die cut, using 'Autumn Colors'. Our sponsor for this challenge is The Scrapbooking Queen. She will be giving 4 Action Wobbles from her Royal Castle Shoppe to one lucky winner.  For my card I decided to cut the tree from the Create A Critter 2 cartridge. It can be found on page 63. I cut it and all the layers at 4 inches. I then embossed the trunk/limbs using the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder. I popped it up on one thickness of foam tape. The clouds are from a Fiskars punch. I used my Star Dust Gelly Roll pen and made some sliver linings on my clouds. I glued one down and popped up the other two on one thickness of foam tape. the bg paper is from Moxxie. The great sentiment is from the Fall Fun stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. On the inside I added one more cloud and an acorn that I cut from the CAC2 cartridge. It can almost be found on page 63. I cut it at 2 inches. I embossed the cap of the acorn with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.

Happy Veteran's Day

Welcome to Exploring Cricut's first challenge for November. Can you believe that we are in the next to the last month of the year?! For today's challenge, Diane gave us the assignment of making a card, layout or papercraft honoring our brave men and women who protect our nation. Now, I always have a hard time making these type of cards. I don't know why. They are just hard for me. I wanted it to be different. So I went with the this hat from the Stand and Salute cartridge. I'm sorry, I totally did not write down the page it can be found on! I cut it at 1.50 inches. It and it's shadow. The sentiment is computer generated. I popped both the hat and sentiment up on one thickness of foam tape. The pattern bg paper is open stock from Hobby Lobby. I couldn't get a good picture of the inside, so I'm only showing the front. I did cut a hat at 1 inch for the inside.
Head over and check out the inspiration that my DT Sister's and Brother have created for you. Awesomeness for sure!!!!
Now it is your turn. Make a new project (no back links please) honoring our brave. Link up by 9pm, EST, Saturday November 10th. Can't wait to see what you make! Hope ya'll like my card!! :)

I started building my card with a red cardstock for the base of my A2 card. I added a patterned blue piece next and then a striped piece. Both pattern pieces are from DCWV-the Celebration Stack. I stamped my sentiment. It is from a wooden stamp that I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I then popped my teddy bear up on one thickness of foam tape. I chose the Bride and Groom bears to showcase today. They are #'s 23 and 24 on the overlay. I cut the teddy bears, layers and clothes at 3.5 inches. My card is 6x6 white cardbase. I layered a red piece of cardstock and on top of that a piece of specialty paper that I picked up at Hobby Lobby a couple of years ago. I like it, bought it, but never used it. It was just waiting for the perfect card idea to come to light! I used some glossy accents on his tie and glass and on her headband and bow. I also added some tiny faux half pearls on the flowers and her bow. The swirl at the top and on the inside are from Prima-Say It In Pearls. I put my sentiment on the inside. It is from the Rejoice stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. Ahhhh Mary has the best stamps!!! I hope you have enjoyed my card for today.
