Love

Morning Crafty Friends!! I'm tellin' ya. This Alabama weather just can't make up it's mind what so ever. Cold as could be the first part of last week and then over the weekend-Spring weather!!! Loved it, but I'm wanting Winter to come and go quickly, not tease us with this Spring weather every other week!!!
But I know you aren't here to hear about Alabama weather. I bet you are here 'cus today is the start of a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 and you want to see what I created for it, yeah? Our wonderfully talented DS Sister Brenda is hosting this week. She asked us and is asking you to use a Cricut 'Charm' on your project. These are on quite a few of the cartridges. I've never used one before, so I wasn't sure I was even going to do this challenge. Then I decided to just go for it. I used my Cricut Explore to cut this silhouette charm from the Disney Princesses-Happily Ever After cartridge. The I got to hunting for the word 'Love.' I found this one in the Silhouette Online Store (#30004), so I cut it with my Silhouette. I did some doodling around the heart in the 'Love.' I also used what I thought was my Clear Wink of Stella Brush on it and turned out to be the White one. I decided that I like the effect and did the one on the inside the same. The bling in the corners and heart on the inside are from Recollections. The pattern paper is from the Recollections-Love 6x6 pad. I haven't added a sentiment to it yet, but will when I decide who I will give it to.
I hope you plan on going over to Bitten By The Bug 2  and checking out the projects that my DT Sisters have made. I'm tellin' ya, they are awesomeness for sure!!!! While you are there, check the sidebar for the rules to our challenges then head to your crafty spot and create a project using a Cricut 'Charm' on it. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Your card is amazing Sharon, what a great way to use the charm feature, which I didn't even know that cart had one. lol Just goes to show what we can find when we look! The papers you used are so pretty Sharon. I'm so glad that you decided to just go for it Sharon, you did a great job my friend! I'm so sorry I'm late commenting, just pure laziness on my part. It's so cold here too and we aren't quite used to this kind of cold for so long. Regular cold in the 20's yes, and occasionally cold in the teens, but not for this long at a time! I so want spring to come and winter to leave. I need to live where winter is much shorter, like only 4 weeks worth. lol Stay warm my friend. Hugs, Brenda
