Bitten By The Bug 2-Heart

The current challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 is to use the dripping flying heart from the Rock Princess cartridge. Good thing they will let you use another cartridge, 'cus I don't have this one! Yeah, I know! Can't believe it either!! I need to get it since I have granddaughters!!! So I went with the Indie Art cartridge. I cut the wings, broken heart and sentiment from IA. The oval I cut from George and Basic Shapes. One of the best cartridges you can have. If you look closely at the bottom of the heart, you can see where I added a little bit of drippy goo punch. I did some faux stitching and added some black half pearls. The bg paper is from K and Company. I have to say that this really isn't my style and had to really think about what to make. I'm please with how it turned out though. This challenge runs for two weeks. So plenty of time to create and join in on the fun! They also post a new challenge every Monday. Hope ya'll like my card!!!!! :)
See the drippy goo punch across the bottom of the sentiment piece? You may have to enlarge the photo. Just click on it to enlarge.

How adorable! I like how creative you were, using a different but similar cut. Nice job on the "heartbreaker" and your drippy heart!! Thanks so much for playing along with the BBTB2 challenge - it always excites us to see what the blog followers come up with.

Thanks for sharing,
Susan

Oh my gosh, Sharon. This is absolutely fantastic. You're a true genius putting this together to fit the challenge from another cartridge. I'm with you--not exactly my style either. I got that Indie Art cartridge with my Cricut rewards points and I've never used it. I know--shame on me. You've inspired me to get it out and have a look. Thanks for playing along with us at BBTB2.
P.S. I'll see you soon.

Great card Sharon, love how you made it a broken heart. I like the Indie Art cart and have used it many times. You really need to get the Rock Princess cart, lots of cute images and a really cute font, would be perfect for your Grand Daughters. So glad you joined the challenge with BBTB2.
