WOW!!! It's October 1st!! Autumn has gotten here. Mostly on the calendar, but a little bit weather wise, too. We have had some nights that it's been cool. Enough chitty chat. I know why you are here. It's for the new challenge over at Paper Playtime isn't it? Since it's the first Monday of the month, it's time for Die Cut Creations. You can use any die cut machine to create you project. All we ask is that it be brand new. No back links please. Our theme is Trick or Treat. And our sponsor for this challenge is The Robin's Nest. There are so many great things to choose from. It will be hard for the winner to pick what they will use the $15 gift certificate that they are giving, on. For my card today, I used the Mini Monsters cartridge. I cut the Trick or Treat bucket from page 58. I cut it at 3.50 inches. The candies are from page 56 and the lollipops are on page 57. I cut all of these at 2 inches. I used Glossy Accents on the handle, the middle of the eyes, the mouth and candies. I also used Diamond Stickles on the whites of the eyes and candies. The pattern paper is some I picked up last year. I think at Joanns. The sentiments are from the More Spooky Sayings stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I accented the sentiments with these Cherry Chocolate Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest. Love these things!! Head over to Paper Playtime and check out the creations my DT Sisters have made for inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!!! Then head to your crafty space and make a Trick or Treat project. Link by noon, EST, October 12th. Looking forward to seeing what you make!! Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

The bg paper is from studio g that I picked up at Walmart. The sentiments on the front and inside are from the More Spooky Sayings stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. Bitten By The Bug 2-Blue

This is the card that I made for the challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. They asked for a boy project using the color blue. I decided to pull out my Robotz cartridge for this card. It's been a really long time since I've used it. I cut the robot on page 39 at 3.50 inches. I used googly eyes  instead of the ones that cut with it. I used my Gypsy Girl and hid the tick marks where the eyes go. I did some faux stitching and a litle bit of doodling. The bg designer papers are from My Mind's Eye-Lil' Robots. The buttons are from my stash. The sentiments are from My Pink Stamper. The 'Hello' is from the Everyday Occasions stamp set and 'You Rock' on the inside is from the Family & Friends stamp set. To finish off my card, I put my robot on an action wobble!! Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)
I couldn't get a real good picture of him wobbling. This was the best one.

The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Digi Challenge-Halloween

Good morning all!!! Here it is the last Monday of September. Where did this month go?! Since it's the last Monday, it can only mean one thing! Time for a new challenge for The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Digi Challenge. Our theme this month is Halloween. There are so many great Halloween Digi's out there to choose from. You have until October 28th to create and link. You can enter more than one project. But each one has to be a new creation. No back links. Also, it must link directly to your project and not a general link to you entire blog. Also, please provide a link to The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Digi Challenge inviting others to play along. Now for my cards.
For my first card I used this adorable image from Bugaboo Stamps called Halloween Mummy-Coffin. Isn't it adorable?! I colored it using my Copics and for the hinges, I used a lemon Spica Glitter Pen. I cut it out and popped it up on my card. The cute little bat is a stamp and skittle from Pez-A-Doodle Designs. I haven't used these in a while and thought it was perfect for my card. The sentiment on the front is from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps More Spooky Sayings set. The inside sentiment is from a wooden stamp.
For my other card, I cheated and used a precolored digi. It is from Pink Cat Studio and is called Vampire Blobby. As cute as can be!!! Love those teeth! I printed it, cut it down and rounded the corners. The bg designer paper is from My Mind's Eye-Boo to You!-Monster Mash. The sentiment is from Spooky Sayings stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I stamped it, cut it down and rounded the corners. Cut the black piece a little larger and rounded it's corners. I used some faux black half pearls to finish my card. Really quick to put together when you use a precolored digi!!! Now it is your turn!! Create and link so we can come by and admire! Also check out the projects my DT Sisters made for some inspiration!! Awesomeness for sure! Hope y'all like my cards!!!! :)

Action Wobbles Wednesday Challenge-Borders

The current challenge at Action Wobbles Wednesday is to add any kind of border on your project. And make sure you use an action wobble. I made a birthday card using the cow from the Create A Critter cartridge. The grass is my border. I used an EK punch to make it. The sentiment on the front is from the Farmyard Funnies stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. The inside sentiment is from two sets from My Pink Stamper. 'It's Your' is from Punny-licious and 'Birthday' is from Simply Sweet Occasions. The bg pattern paper is from Doodlebug Designs. And my cow is on an action wobble!!! Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Bitten By The Bug 2-Things That Fly In Nature

I'm really pushing the limit for Bitten By The Bug 2's current challenge. It ends in just a few hours! My sister-in-law has a birthday at the end of the week, so I had to get her a card made so I can get it in the mail tomorrow. Thought this challenge was the perfect theme for her card. I used Paper Trimmings cartridge for the butterflies which I cut at 1 inch. The vase and rose are from the Walk In My Garden cartridge. The vase was cut at 2.5 inches and the rose at 2.75 inches. I used a little glossy accents on the white part of the rose and leaves and Diamond Stickles on the butterflies. I did a little doodling. The punch is from Martha Stewart. The sentiment is from a wooden stamp. The patterned papers are from Basic Grey. That's it. Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge #15-Bling!!!!

It is time for a new challenge for Mary-Cardz TV Stamps Design Team. Our challenge is "Bling It Up"!! We would love for you to create a card, layout or craft project using LOTS of bling!!! Use any theme and colors you'd like. This challenge runs from Friday, Sept. 21st until Thursday, Sept. 27th at midnight pm EST. Mary is giving one lucky person a set of her awesome stamps. Check them out right here.
For my card I used the Gnomes and Mushrooms CCR digi set. A lot of the CCR digis were on my Gypsy Girl when I renewed my Circle membership. They were there until I updated again. I just love this toadstool home. I cut the different pieces in different colors and for the sign, I hid the words so I could stamp on them. For my bling, I used some faux white half pearls on the signs and some on the house. But I couldn't stop there. I punched some butterflies from a Martha Stewart punch. Added some pearls down the body. For the one on the front, I covered it in clear gems. I love how it turned out!! The bg designer paper is from Cosmo Cricket-Pixie-Licious-Winged Wishes. Both sentiments are from Mary's Encouraging Thoughts stamp set.
You can't go wrong with any of Mary's stamp sets. They are all so wonderfully awesome!!!
Head over to Mary's and check out the inspiration my DT Sisters have created for you to enjoy. Awesomeness for sure!!! Then head to your crafty space and get to creating. Don't forget you have to link before midnight, EST on Thursday, Sept. 27th. And who knows, you just might be the lucky winner of one of Mary's card sets!!! Hope y'all like my blingy card!!!! :)

SKdigis Challenge

I had so much fun entering the very first challenge over at SKdigis. As a thank you for all that entered, Sonia was so very kind and gave each of us a free digi. After seeing that the new challenge was to create a card using "Black and White + One Color". I knew just the digi I wanted. I chose the Zoo-Flamingo. Thank You Sonia!! I went with "Pink" as my one color. I colored my Flamingo with different shades of pink Copics. I then used a Spellbinders Nestabilities Label Eight to cut the shape around my Flamingo. I inked the edges with pink ink and even dusted some around on top of the cardstock. I had this great pattern paper left over from a kit I had gotten when our local scrapbook store was opened. We had a Think Pink event. It is by Design Originals. The sentiments on the front and on the inside are from Scrappy Mom's Believe In Miracles stamp set. The pink faux half pearls are from Creative Charms. Head over and check out Sonia's challenge blog. She has a few freebies that you can grab and join in on the fun. Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Paper Playtime-Say It With Sentiments-Punches

Can you believe it is already the 3rd Monday of September? Where did it go?! Well, it being the 3rd Monday can only mean one thing-time for a new challenge at Paper Playtime!! For our Say It With Sentiments challenge we are asking for punches on your project. I have lots of punches but tend to not think about using one until it's to late. Are you like that, too? I have lots of things that I think to use to late! Hahaha Our challenge is being sponsored by The Robin's Nest. They will be giving a $15 gift certificate to one lucky person. Theres some great stuff over there!! You just gotta go and look! I'll wait! Told ya didn't I?!
For my card I went really simple. Shelly of Cards By Shelly directed me to this great site that has the cutest digis. Her name is Sonia Kerznus and you can find her here. You need to go check her blog out and look at her darling digis! I printed this cute fish 3, colored it with my Copics and then cut it out. (Oh, and this digi was a freebie!!) I added a small half faux black pearl in the middle of it's eye. I cut each bubble out and popped up the two smaller ones on 1 thickness of foam tape and the bigger one one 2 thickness'. My bg paper is open stock from Hobby Lobby-Paper Studio. I used my EK Success punch across the bottom. I'm sorry, I'm not really sure what the name of it is, but it may be bubbles since that is what it looks like. . My sentiment is from the Amusing Animals stamp set from Scrappy Mom's. I added this great Midnight Teardrop from The Robin's Nest to finish off my card. Head over to Paper Playtime and check out what my DT Sisters created for inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!! And then head to your crafty space and create something with a punch or punches and link it up so we can come by and admire it. You have until noon, EST on Friday, September 28th. Just make sure you enter a new creation. No back links please. And also, please mention and make a link back to Paper Playtime. Hope y'all like my little card!!! :)
Here's the reason i cut my fishy and bubbles out. My little fishy is on an action wobble!!!
See it swimming through the water!!!

Exploring Cricut Daily Project

Happy Weekend!!! Hope it is starting out well for ya. Today I have the honor of presenting the Daily Project for Exploring Cricut. I sure hope you have been checking out the daily projects my DT Sisters and Brother have presented this week. If not, head over and see what you have been missing. Awesomeness for sure!!!!
For my project today I made a birthday card. One of the young ladies at work had a birthday and I made this card for her. I used the Elegant Edges cartridge to cut the mats. This one can be found on page 68. It is the oblong shift feature. I cut the solid one at 2.25inches and the other one at 1.75 inches. The inside one is cut at 3.50 inches. All of the papers except for the card base are from Heidi Grace. I ran a piece of lace around the top bg piece and then glued the middle and used foam tape on the edges of the bottom sentiment mat and popped up the top mat with one thickness of foam tape. I finished up my card by adding some Prima Say It In Crystals to it. I got this idea from the Sepember 2012 issue of Card Maker Magazine. The one that Tami Mayberry designed can be found on page 57. I thought it was just perfect for my young friend. The sentiment is from the Mini Messages stamp set from Scrappy Mom's. Hope you have entered our current challenge. If you haven't, you still have time. Create a project with a Cricut cut of a person on it. You have until 9pm, EST tonight to link it up. Don't forget to come back Monday and see what our Guest Designer has to show you. Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Bitten By The Bug 2-In Honor

I made this card for the challenge over at Bitten By The Bug 2. The challenge this week is to make a project to honor our soldiers and emergency workers. I decided to honor 'firefighters'. I used the Beep Beep cartridge and cut the Firetruck 2. It can be found at the #29 spot on the overlay. I cut it at 3 inches. I put some Diamond Stickles on the siren bubble on the top and did some doodling and faux stitching. The 'thank you' is an Inkadinkado stamp. I punched it out with an EK punch. The bg pattern cardstock is from Best Creation Inc.-Transportation. Hope y'all like my card!!! :)

SKdigis Challenge #1

This is my second post for today!! Check out the card I made for the Wobble Wednesday challenge here.

Sonia Kertznus is having her first challenge on her new challenge blog. Go here to check it out!!! She had an awesome blog hop with her fabulous DT featuring her digis and the icing on the cake is the first challenge. The theme is an anything goes using any of Sonia's digis!!! She even has a few freebies you can try!!! Tomorrow is the last day to link up, but you still have time to head over there, pick up one of the freebies or even purchase some of the great digis and get something made. I was so very lucky and won blog candy from the hop!!!! I purchase this adorable Zoo-Giraffe. Isn't it the cutest thing!!! I colored it using my Copics and Spica Glitter Pen. I rounded the corners and popped it up on one thickness of foam tape. The bg paper is from Sassafras-bungle Jungle. The sentiment is from the Ticket Talk 2 stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. The little buttons are from my stash. I'm so looking forward to Sonia's next challenge! Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Wobble Wednesday Challenge #26-Sweets

The challenge that ends today over at Actions Wobble Challenge is to make a project that includes a sweet treat on or in it. Since I needed a birthday card I decided to go with this great cupcake from the Sweet Treats cartridge. I used my Gypsy Girl and hid all of the tick marks. I also hid the little dots so they wouldn't cut. I knew I wouldn't be using them. I used the D'vine Swirls Cuttlebug embossing folder on the icing and the Polka Dots folder on the wrapper. The bg pattern paper is from DCWV the Celebrations Stack. The ribbon is from Hobby Lobby and the sentiment is from the Handwritten Notes stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I added faux half pearls to the icing and in the top two corners of the sentiment piece. And my cupcake is on an action wobble!!! How fun is that?!!  Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Exploring Cricut-Cricut Choice

Happy Monday everyone!!! Hope y'all had a great weekend! Ours was pretty good. We have a new challenge over at Exploring Cricut today. It is Cricut choice. That means you can use any cricut cartridge on your card, layout or papercraft. There is one little bitty catch though. You have to include one cricut person cut on your project. Yeah, kinda throws a monkey wrench into that Cricut Choice doesn't it?! I love it!!! I had updated my Gypsy Girl in August and ended up with all of the Cricut Craft Rooms digis on there since I'm in the Cricut Circle. I just had to cut some stuff while I have free access. The shopper on my card is from CCR City People. I cut her at 4.25 inches. She didn't have an eye cut so I used a gelly roll pen and made her one. The shop was cut from the Pop-Up Neighborhood cartridge. It can be found on page 45. I cut it at 3.50 inches. The stamps I used on the front and inside are from the Girls Just Want To Have Fun stamp set from Scrappy Mom's. Now it's your turn. Head over to Exploring Cricut and check out the creations my DT Sisters and Brother have made for some inspiration. Awesomenss for sure!!! And then head to your crafty space and join in on our fun. You have until 9 pm EST on Saturday, September 15th to link up you project. Please new projects only. No back links. Looking forward to coming by and seeing what you create. Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge #14-Happy Holidays

I'm so glad you came by. I've just gotta tell ya about the new challenge we have going on over at Mary's Place. You know, Cardz TV. The Design Team have created projects using the theme "Happy Holiday's"! Yeah!!! And we want you to join in on our challenge! Create a card, layout or craft project for 'Any' holiday you'd like, using any colors you'd like. Now how easy is that? And Mary will be giving one lucky person that links a project a set of her awesome stamps. Check them out here, I'll wait on ya while you go and look. Told ya they are awesome, didn't I?! Our challenge runs from 12:01am, Friday, Sept. 7th until 11:59pm, Thursday, Sept. 13th. Mary will announce the winner on Friday Sept. 14th. May sure you get your project linked up by then so we can come by and admire your creation.
Now on to my cards. Yes, I said cards. I just had to make two. One is Spiritual and the other is a fun one. I have to get cards made for the Grands, too. Oh, by the way, I made Christmas cards. Bet you guessed that by now. My first card was really simple and quick to make. I used the Inspired Heart cartridge. The Wisemen are #33 on the overlay. I just love this cut. The star I cut from the Winter Frolic cartridge. Sorry, I don't have the page number for it. My sentiment is from the Classic Christmas stamp set that is one of Mary's earlier sets. I so love it. This sentiment is just perfect with this cut.

I used a super light tan-almost beige for the bg and under it I used a red piece for a little bit of color. My card base is white. For my other card I used a cut from The Cricut Craft Room. It is from Seasonal Characters. When I updated my Gypsy Girl all of the cuts that are digis for the Craft Room showed up since I renewed my Cricut Circle membership. Of course I had to go through them and see what was there. I really like this cute Santa. Just knew it would be perfect for one of the Grands cards. I cut him at 3.5 inches. The bg paper is from my stash and the holly and present were buttons with those loops on the back that I snipped off so they would lay flat. I popped Santa up on one thickness of foam tape. For my sentiment I used the Holly Jolly stamp set that is another one of Mary's earlier sets. I love this one, too. Okay, I love them all!!!!!

Now it is your turn to create and link. So looking forward to coming by and admiring your project. Hope y'all like my cards!!!! :)

Happy Birthday Dad

My Dad's birthday is this week so I had to get him a card made. And while I was at it, I decided to fit it into a couple of challenges. The first one is Bitten By The Bug 2. Their challenge this week is to make a shaped card. You can use any cartridge and theme. It just must be cut with the cricut. The other challenge is Wobble Wednesday #25. This one ends today so I'm really pushing it close. They are asking for a Manly Card for this challenge. Just make sure it has an Action Wobble on it. For my card I used my Gypsy Girl to make my shaped card. I used the Elegant Edges cartridge. The oblong and shift from page 69. I also cut some smaller sizes of the shape for the front and several layers for the inside. I also cut the car on page 42 from the Wrap It Up cartridge. I cut it at 2.25 inches. I think it turned out really cute. I did a little bit of doodling on it, but not much. The sentiments are from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. The Happy Birthday is from the Happy Days set and Dad is from the Father's Day set. I did not add anything extra on the inside besides the layers of the shape. And of course I put the car on an Action Wobble!!!! I think my Dad is going to really like his card.
Hope y'all like my it!! :)

Paper Playtime-Delicious Die Cuts-Gingham

Can you believe it is the 3rd of September?!! Man summer really flew by!! Since it is the first Monday of the month we are having our Delicious Die Cuts challenge at Paper Playtime. Make a creation using any die cut or punch and use gingham on your project. This one kinda threw me for just a moment. I have gingham paper, but don't use it a lot. I don't know why. I really like it. So I had to think about how to use it for my card. First let me tell you about our sponsor for this challenge. Marks Finest Papers and Stamps. What wonderful stamp sets and other great products! I used their stamp set 'Relax A Bit' for my card. I colored the tea cup and tea bag using my Copics. I then ran them through my Big Kick using Spellbinders Nestabilites Ovals. I also ran a piece of green gingham for a shadow behind my teacup. The two sentiments are also on this great stamp set along with another sentiment and a teapot. A really fantastic set!! And that is it. Head over and check out what my DT Sisters created for inspiration and then head to your crafty space and make a new creation (not back posts) using a die cut or punch and gingham and link it up so we can come by and admire it. You have until noon, EST, Friday, September 14th to link. Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)
I kinda went a little wild with the layers on the inside!
