Bitten By The Bug 2-Mittens

Penny over at Bitten By The Bug 2 has chosen the mittens from the Joys of the Season cartridge for this weeks challenge. I really had fun making this card. The dp I cut the mittens from is Echo Park and the bg paper is me and my Big ideas-Christmas Carol paper pad. The sentiment is a stamp I have in my stash and the snowflake bling on the mittens are from Hobby Lobby and the one on the inside is from Michaels. For the sentiment I stamped, trimed and rounded the corners. Cut the layers under it a bit bigger and rounded the corners and then popped it up. Also popped up the mittens. I'm pleased with how this one turned out. Hubby liked it, too! I don't know if this challenge runs for 2 weeks or not since it doesn't say. I do know they will issue a new challenge tomorrow.
