Exploring Cricut Christmas In July Blog Hop

Blog Hop has now closed. I will draw a winner and post tomorrow. Good luck!!! :)
Happy Monday everyone and welcome to Exploring Cricut's very first Blog Hop!!! Now if you came here from Exploring Cricut, then you are in the right place. If you just stopped by to visit, why Thank You! How about joining us for our Blog Hop. Some of the stops have blog candy to give away. And there is a challenge with a prize involved at Exploring Cricut. Our Blog Hop is Christmas In July, so we are sharing Christmas projects. I made 4 Christmas cards. I used the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge for all of my cuts. For my first card, I used the Elf that can be found on page 74. I cut her at 4 inches. I cut the blackout and silhuette and layer pieces. The designer bg paper is from The Paper Studio (Hobby Lobby)-Holly Jolly Paper Pack. The Santa Hats and Snowflake Gemstones are also Paper Studio. The sentiment is from the Home For Christmas stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.

For my second card, I used the Reindeer cut on page 75. It is also cut at 4 inches. I cut the blackout, silhouette and layers from my scrapbin. The bg paper is from my stash. Not sure where it came from. The sentiment is from the Home for Christmas stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I finished off my card with some Rhinestones I picked up at Michaels.

For my third card I went with the tree on page 76. It is cut at 3.75 inches. I cut the blackout, silhouette and layers using cardstock from my scrap bin. The bg patteren paper is from Canvas Home Basics-Christmas Brights Cardstock. I just had to decorate my tree. I used these tiny buttons that I had in my stash. The sentiment is from the stamp set Holly Jolly from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.

My last card is featuring the snowman on page 77. I cut him at 4 inches. The blackout, silhouette, layers and bg paper are from my scrap bin. Decided I just had to add the snowman and blue buttons. These have been in my stash for way to long. They came from Hobby Lobby. I used Shore Twine from The Twinery in the holes of the buttons. My sentiment is from the Home For Christmas stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.

Your next stop is the great Annette. Head on over and check out what she has to share. Awesomeness for sure!!!! There is a list of all the stops at the end of my post so if you get lost, you can just find your way from there. Oh yeah,, what is a blog hop without a little bit of blog candy. Now I don't expect you to be a follower to be able to win my blog candy, but if you want to follow my blog, I sure as the world won't turn you away!! And also, due to the cost of postage, please have a U.S. or Canadian address. Please leave me a way to get in touch with you so if you win, I can let you know. Check out the picture after the listing of my DT Sisters and Brother to see what I'm giving away.
After you finish the blog hop, hop into your crafty space and create a Christmas project. Make sure you use a Cricut cut and that your project is a new one. No back links please!! Looking forward to seeing your project. You have until 9pm, EST, Saturday, July 21st to link up your creation. Hope y'all like my cards!!!!  I'm also entering them in the challenge at DL Art  :)

These are just too cute! I never was into Hello Kitty so imagine me in my delight of how much money I would be saving (because they are so expensive now)...until I came here, saw what you made, and wiped up the drool. haha. eww. Sorry I got so personal there for a second. You did such a great job! Thanks for being a part of the blog hop. You are too good! :)
