Bitten By The Bug 2-Kitchen

I had decided that I wasn't gonna post this card. I'm really not happy with it at all. You know how you have something in your head but it doesn't work out on paper? That's this card. I figured I would just try and fit in some time at some point to make another card for this challenge, but with the way my work schedule is this week and this coming weekend, I won't have time, so here it is. The theme for this challenge that started last week at Bitten By The Bug 2 is "Your Kitchen". Make a project based on something you find in your kitchen. I cut these oven mitts from the From My Kitchen cartridge. It can be found on page 53. I used the flip feature on my Gypsy Girl for one of them so the 'thumbs' could face each other. My bg papers are from Cosmo Cricket-Garden variety. I used some Buttercream twine from The Twinery at the bottom on my card. The sentiment is from the Of Mice & Lil Men stamp set from K. Andrew Designs. And that's it. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Cute, cute, cute! I love the papers you used and the oven mitts are just perfect with that senitment. Oh yes, I know what you mean about a card not turning out like you envisioned. That was my card this week for BBTB2, but like you I didn't have time to remake another one so I went with it. But I think your card is adorable. Thanks for joining the kitchen challenge with BBTB2 ;-)
