Paper Cutz Challenge #93

I've done a few of the challenges over at Paper Cutz but not a whole lot. I popped over there over the weekend and saw that this week is to make a card, layout or craft project using a banner and any colors or theme and since I had until Thursday night to link up a project, I knew I could get something made. I haven't made a lot of banners so I thought I would give this challenge a try and make a layout. I used the Birthday Bash cartridge. I really like the selection of banners on this cart. I decided to use this one with the little swish on the bottom. Using my Gypsy Girl, I welded the letters inside the banners so they would cut out. I cut white banners to back them with. Then I doodled inside the edges of the letters with a green jelly roll pen. I used some Heidi Grace cardstock for these banners and also for the bg cardstock. The bigger two banners are for the photos. The cardstock for the left one is K and Company Itsy Bitsy Baby Girl and the right one is Baby Boy. I used Honeydew Twine from The Twinery to connect my banners and to make bows on the photo banners. I just love the vibrant colors that they have!!! I didn't use any embellishments on this one. I think the printed cardstock I used for the bg does the embellishment job very nicely. Hop over and try your hand at making something crafty with a banner. I sure enjoyed making my layout. I hope ya'll like it!!!! :)
