I lost my Mom

This past Monday, November 2nd, I lost my Mom. The funeral was today. I've heard others talk about losing their Mom and how much it hurts and how they miss her so much, but I thought I had a long time before that happened to me. But I was so very wrong. It was sudden and so unexpected. No one ever has time to prepare, but especially not when it is sudden. I am still in shock, but I know it will hit me soon that Mom is gone. I know I will be with her in Heaven, and I so look forward to that day. But for now, I have to learn to live without her being here with me.
I love you Mom and miss you so very much!!! I will see you again when it's my time!!!

I am so very sorry to hear this Sharon. It is never easy to lose someone dear to us, especially suddenly. I know how hard it is for you at this time. I lost my Mom 10 years ago. I know what you are talking about when you say you are in shock, I don't know how I got through the days before the funeral. I know that God was with me because I am not a strong person like some during times like this. I know God is with you. It doesn't help to hear "I'm sorry" or "she is in a better place". All you want is your Mom. Please trust me when I say time will help, and it will take time. You will always have those days that will be difficult but you will also have special memories (even days when you will smile)thinking of her.
Sending prayers to you and your family.
God bless you
Pam
