A Banner Day

Good Monday morning Crafty Friends!! Hope all is well with you. Are you ready for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2? Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Maureen is our hostess this week. She has challenged us and you to make a 'Banner' using a Cricut cut. I am in the process of making things for our DD and SIL annual Fourth of July get together and decided that this would be a perfect opportunity to make a banner. I have made very very few banners. Okay, one. So I wanted one that can be used. I decided to use this Flag Banner from the Independence Day cartridge. I cut it at 5 inches wide, punched holes in the top corners and ran some Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine so I can hang it. I'm very please with how it turned out.
Sorry the picture isn't all that great. Didn't have a lot of places here to hang it to get a great picture.
Please head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the great projects that my DT Sister's have made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are there, look in the sidebar for the rules for our challenges. Then how about heading to your crafty place and joining us for our challenge by creating a banner project using a Cricut cut. Can't wait to see what you make!!
Hope ya'll like my banner!!!! :)

This is such a perfect 475th of July banner. It really looks great the way it is hanging there. I haven't made many banners, either. Great job!!!

Perfect! I love your pretty banner, the shape is great. It's hard to photograph bigger projects like this but I think you did a great job!

I hope you make many many more banners because this one turned out great! I usually don't decorate for 4th of July but this year I did, pulling out all my Red, White, and Blue and made a few things too.

Have a great week.

Maureen

Oooh, now I want to make one! This looks very cool! (I'm envisioning it across my front picture window…) You did a great job photographing it-I clicked on the pic to enlarge it and could see it well! I think photographing projects is just hard in general, I'm always struggling with the lighting.
