Happy Birthday

Well, here it is, mid way through the current Linky Party at Pause Dream Enjoy Linky Parties. Are you ready to see what the mid DT Sisters have in store for you? Our Linky Party is '3 or More Pattern Papers'. One of our granddaughters recently had a birthday so I made her this super cute box card called Pinwheels. I got it from the Silhouette Store. It is file #59705 and is by Lori Whitlock. The dp are from Echo Park-Splendid Sunshine and Bo Bunny-Lemonade Stand 6x6 pads. I got Splendid Sunshine from Theresa-The Royal Castle Shoppe and Lemonade Stand from Bluemoon Scrapbooking. Both are wonderful places to purchase from. The sentiment is from the stamp set 'Tiny Tags 3' from My Craft Spot.
I hope ya plan on joining us for our Linky Party. Head on over to Pause Dream Enjoy Linky Party and check out the creations that my DT Sisters have made. Awesomeness for sure!! While you are there check out the rules for our Linky Parties, then head to your crafty space and create something and link it up by Aug. 4th. I'm sure looking forward to seeing what you make!
Hope ya'll like my latest box card!!!! Oh, by the way, our granddaughter loved it!!!! :)

BZZZZZ!

Good morning everyone!!! We have another great challenge for you over at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented leader Susan has challenged uw to make a project with a Cricut 'Bee' on it. I decided to use the cute bee from the Pooh and Friends cartridge. I cut the one on the front at 3 inches and the one on the inside at 2 1/4 inches. It can be found on page 16. The honeycomb can be found on page 17 and I cut the one on the front at 2 inches and the inside one at 1 1/2 inches. I added some clear Wink of Stella Brush to the wings and some bling to the antennas. I also glossy accented the eyes. I embossed the bg paper using the Cuttlebug Honeycomb embossing folder. On the inside I used the Honeycomb Border embossing folder. The sentiments are from the 'Going Buggy' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. How about heading over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the projects that my DT Sisters made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are there, look in the sidebar and see what the rules for our challenges are. Then head to your crafty space and create a project using a Cricut 'Bee' and link it so we can come by and admire it.

Christmas in July Blog Hop

Do you like blog hops. I sure do. They are always fun. We are having a 'Christmas in July Blog Hop' and challenge over at Exploring Cricut and More and we sure hope you plan on hopping along with us and joining our challenge. Now, if you are hopping and you came from Annette's blog, then you are in the right place, but if you just stopped by to see what I've been up to, why thank you. How about joining us for our blog hop. Head to Exploring Cricut and More and start at the very beginning. Don't miss any stops, there just might be some blog candy along the way. I know there will be at Exploring Cricut and More and I plan on having something to give away also. Just make sure you follow the rules that each have set up for a chance at the blog candy.
If you are a regular here, you know I have just fallen in love with the box cards. I think they are just fabulous. When I heard that SVG Cuts was coming out with some Christmas Box Cards, I just couldn't wait to get my hands on these files. How excited I was when I downloaded them and laid them out in my Silhouette program. If I had of had enough time, I would have cut them all, but alas, this thing called 'work' tends to get in my way. So for our blog hop I chose the Christmas Tree Box to showcase. I used Christmas stacks that I've have for years and I just love how it turned out. I used my Wink of Stella pens on the stars and tops of the ornaments. Gold for the stars and yellow for the tops of the ornaments. I added some Doodlebug Designs Sprinkles to the train. These are from the Birthday Boy set. I got these from The Royal Castle Shoppe. On the back panel I used the Snowflake Cuttlebug embossing folder. I can't remember the name of the embossing folder I used on the tree.
Well that is it. From here you will be heading over to Faith's blog. Don't miss anyone, because if you do, you will be missing some awesomeness for sure!!!
If you get lost, come back by and look below for the lineup.
Also, check out the blog candy I'm giving below the box card photos. You don't have to be a follower, but I do ask that you only comment once for the candy and have a U.S. address. I will post the winner late Sunday.
Hope ya'll like my Christmas Box Card!!!! :)

How about a $15 gift card from Hobby Lobby. Remember, only one comment and have a U.S. address. :)

Hoo's having.......

Morning Everyone!!! We had a wonderful weekend! Hope you did, too. I'm all ready for the new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Maureen is our hostess for this weeks challenge. She has challenged us to use a Cricut cut of an Owl on our project. I pulled out the Kate's ABC's cartridge and cut this darling owl from page 39 at 3 inches. I then used the Pooh and Friends cartridge and cut the moon and stars from page 12 at 1 1/4 inches. I coated the stars and the whites of the owls eyes with my Wink of Stella clear brush. I used glossy accents on the leaves. I outlined the moon with a gold Wink of Stella pen. Since I'm always needing birthday cards, that's what I made this one into. The sentiment on the inside is from the 'For the Birds' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
Head on over to Bitten by The Bug 2 and check out the owl projects that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!!! Then read the rules for our challenges in the sidebar before heading to your crafty space to create your own owl project to link up. Can't wait to see what ya make!!
Hope ya'll like my owl birthday card!!!! :)

Flowers

Good Saturday morning ya'll!!! Hope you have a big weekend planned with some time in there for a little bit of crafting. I'm at work this morning, but I hope to get in my crafty room a little while this afternoon when I get home. I hope ya'll aren't tired of me making box cards yet. I just had to make this flower one from Lori Whitlock. I got it from the Silhouette Store. It is file #59704. I love the flowers. Hubby has some beautiful flowers in our front yard that are blooming so prettily. My favorite are his roses. For this box card, I used some designer cardstock from Basic Gray. And I finished it off with some Doodlebug 'Birthday Girl' Sprinkles in the center of the flowers.
Have you been checking out the daily projects this week? Well, if you haven't, you sure have missed some awesomeness for sure!!!! Also, you still have time to create a project for our current challenge. Just make a project using at least 2 die cuts and link it by 10pm, EST, tonight.
That's it for me today. Have a great weekend!!
Hope ya'll like my card box!!!! :)

Tags

Good Tuesday morning!! It's time for the mid-linky team to showcase their projects for the current Linky Party at Pause Dream Enjoy Linky Party. The theme this time is 'Tags'. Now, I really wanted a flip flop tag because my BFF and I have been talking flip flops lately. We will be heading to Gulf
Shores towards the end of August for some girl time and I told her that we need some flip flops with a great design on them. She's happy with just plain 98 cent ones. Not me!! If I'm going to be on the beach, I want some pretty flip flops. So I found this great file in the Silhouette Store by Sweet Afton. It is file #61095. I cut it the size it is in the file. Well, it turned out pretty big!!! I thought 'Oh No!!!', do I really want to use this as my 'Tag' project. I hunted farther and found this tag shape from Lori Whitlock (file #20378). I wanted something pretty to go on it. I had this Lisa Norris-Goofy Tulip file in my folder. It is file #56399. I decided to use it, cut two without the goofy face. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. Then I just decided to show ya'll both of them. I really do love the flip flop tag, even though it is big!!
Hope you are planning on heading over to Pause Dream Enjoy Linky Party to check out what my DT Sisters have made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are there, ready the rules for our Linky Parties and then head to your crafty space and create a 'Tag' to link.
Hope ya'll like my tags!!!! :)

Dog Days of Summer

Morning!!! Hope you had a wonderful weekend with beautiful weather. Ours was hot, hot, hot!!!
Hence the title and theme of the Bitten By The Bug 2 challenge this week. I have the honor of being the hostess. And I challenged my DT Sisters to make a project using a Cricut cut of a dog. And I'm tellin' ya, they came up with some great projects!!! Awesomeness for sure projects!!! Head over there and take a look-see. While you are there checking out their projects, read the rules for our challenges in the sidebar. Then get to creating a project and link it up so we can come by, visit and admire your creation.
For my card today I used the Create A Critter cartridge. I cut this cute dog from page 34 at 3 inches. Then I cut the dog house from page 35 at 2 inches. The one on the inside was cut at 1 1/4 inches.
I did a little bit of doodling around the doghouse. The clouds are punches. The sentiments are from the 'Barks and Bones' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
Hurry up, get to creating so we can come see what you are up to!!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!!! :)

Keep Calm......

Morning! Are you up and ready for a new challenge at Exploring Cricut and More? Diane has challenged us with a 'Crafters Choice'. Those are always great and easy to do. But there is one catch. You knew there had to be, didn't you? Use at least 2 die cuts on your project. Now that isn't so bad, is it?
I decided to make a gable box for my project. That is my first die cut. It is a Lori Whitlock design. I bought it at the Silhouette Store. It is file #60419. For my second die cut, I cut these cute butterflies from Sarah Bailey. I also purchased this file from the S.S. It is file #57037. I only cut one style of the butterflies in this set. The designer cardstock that I used is from Bo Bunny. The butterflies is the back side of the same that I used for the box. The green is just reg. cardstock. I coated the green in clear Wink of Stella to give it some sparkle. I glued the bottom butterfly to the box and the top one I popped up on one thickness of foam tape. The tag is from a Tiny Tag Metal Die set (3rd die cut here) from My Craft Spot. The sentiment is from the Tiny Tags 3 stamp set also from My Craft Spot. The bow is some ribbon that I crinkled and dyed.
We sure hope you plan on joining us for our challenge this week. We do so love to see your creations. How about heading on over to Exploring Cricut and More and check out the projects that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!!!! Check the rules in the sidebar and then head to your crafty space and create a project using at least 2 die cuts and link it up so we can come by and admire it. You have until 10pm, EST, Saturday, July 19th to link.
Hope ya'll like my gable box!!!! :)

Travel

Are you in the traveling mood? I sure am, but I won't be traveling for a little over 6 weeks. Man that's like forever away!!! We are getting in the travel mood over at Bitten By The Bug 2! Our wonderful DT Sister Pam has challenged us to make a project  to do with travel-any location or transportation. This past week has really been busy at work with the 4th. (Retail-Grocery). Then we had to celebrate the 4th, so that put me trying to come up with a project on shortened time. I decided to go with this camper from Wild Card 2. No imagination here. Just a camper. I know it isn't my best work. Sorry!! I coated the sun in clear Wink of Stella and added a doorknob and a hubcap and added some doodling with my while pen. I didn't even put anything on the inside. I will when I decide who I'm giving it to.
We hope you get in the traveling mood and join us for our challenge!! Head over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the projects that my DT Sisters made. Awesomeness for sure!!! Then head to your crafty space and create a travel project.
Hope ya'll like my camper card!!!! :)

Exploring Cricut and More Daily Project

Good Saturday morning everyone!! Hope ya'll had a great Fourth of July! We sure did!! Our daughter and son-in-law host a big bash each year and we headed over after I got off from work. Lots of family, friends and food. So much fun and to end the night, a great fireworks display. We can see the county fireworks from their front porch!
I am really loving all of the box cards that are appearing in SVG files. This one is from the Summer Box Card set from SVG Cuts. It is called Festive House Box Card. I love it. Goes perfect with Fourth of July. And also, as one of the granddaughters said, Presidents Day. I just pulled papers from my stash to make this one. I embossed the leaves of the tree with the Cuttlebug Divine Swirls embossing folder and the trunk with the Tiny Mosaic embossing folder.
Hope you have a great weekend planned. Maybe you can get a little crafting in there somewhere.
Now, if you haven't entered our current challenge yet, you still have time. You have until 10pm, EST tonight to link up a 'Vacation' project using a sign on it.
Also, if you haven't been checking out the daily projects each day, then you have missing some awesomeness for sure!!!
Hope ya'll like my latest Card in a Box!!!! :)
