Hope ya'll had a wonderful weekend and are now ready for a new challenge at
Exploring Cricut and More. Diane has challenged us to make a card, layout or papercraft celebrating summer and must include the colors red and blue. I decided that I would make a picnic basket. When I was growing up we had picnics a lot. My Mom had a great basket like this. Hers wasn't red and blue though. It was brown. I went digging for the perfect paper to display my basket on. Found this in an older stack from Momenta called Summer Fun. Love the little ants on the picnic table cloth. I cut my basket and the ants using my Silhouette Cameo. I found this file at the Silhouette Store. It is file #44706. I decided to have the ants trying to make off with the goodies!!! The sentiment on the front is from the 'Fun in the Sun' stamp set and the one on the inside is from the 'This 'N' That' stamp set. Both of these can be found at
Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
Head on over to
Exploring Cricut and More and check out the 'Summer' projects that my DT Sisters have made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While there, check out the rules for our challenges. Then head to your crafty space and create a project and link it by 10pm, EST, Saturday, May 10th. Can't wait to see your 'Summer' projects!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

That turned out AWESOME! The basket looks perfect... along with the paper! Those ants are just the right thing for summer time! HA!
I really like how you used vellum paper for the cloth sticking out of the basket. Love how the ants are stealing the food!! So cute:)
