Spring-Flowers

Can you believe Spring is here?! Well, at least that what it says on my calendar. But I'm tellin' ya, step outside and the weather tells you something totally different. We did have a couple of nice days the end of last week, but that sure didn't last. Enough of my bum talking. Let's get down to why we are here today.
At Bitten By The Bug 2 our wonderfully talented DT Sister Pam is our hostess this week. She has challenged us to make a project for Spring-Anything with Flowers!! Now, I'm all about those Spring Flowers!!! I went with the Give a Hoot cartridge for these cute flowers that grace the front of my A2 card. These were cut at 2.75 inches. Using my Gypsy Girl, I hid features and things so I could cut these flowers out of two different colors. I also cut two extra tulips. Now, let me tell you about that. I had every intention to put one of those extra tulips on the inside of my card, but I got carried away and before I knew what I was doing, I had all of them on the front of my card!!! The grass is from a Fiskars Punch. The sun is cut from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. I cut it at 1.25 inches. All of the faces are from the 'Happy Lashes' stamp set from Peachy Keen. The bg dp is from the Doodlebug Design-Springtime 6x6 paper pad. And the sentiments are from the 'Simply Sentiments' stamp set from My Craft Spot. So you can see what I did on the inside since I used the extra tulip on the front. Just added some grass!!!
Head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the projects that my DT Sisters made. Awesomeness for sure!!! Check the sidebar for the rules to our challenges. Then head to your crafty space and create a project for Spring-with Flowers!!! So looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

OMGosh Sharon, I love this card! It is such a sunny and happy card. Those flowers are adorable and I love the PK faces on them. That butterfly paper is just so cute-I really love that paper. lol Your inside turned out perfectly and I think I love the grass more than the flower on the inside. Wonderful card! Hugs
