I made a 6x6 card with this adorable digi from Bugaboo Stamps called Boopeek Moon. It was a freebie. Check out their blog here. I've had this for a little while and have been wanting to color it up and create a card with it. Decided this was the perfect time. I used my Copics to color the digi. I pulled these pink buttons out of my stash. The sentiment is from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps Oh Baby stamp set. The pink and pattern bg papers are from s e i-Chickadee paper pad. That's it!! I am most honored to be sponsoring this challenge. I will be giving away these great flowers (photo at end of post). Now, for you to win, you will need to link a project, be a follower of Paper Playtime and due to postage cost, have a U.S. or Canadian address. I may be sponsoring the blog hop itself, but I just can't go without giving a little candy from my personal blog here. I haven't decided what yet, so no picture. It will be a surprise!!! You don't have to be a follower (I won't turn you away), but due to postage cost please do have a U.S. or Canadian address. Now head over to Nicolette's and check out her project!! Then head to your crafty space and create something for our 'Anything Goes' challenge.  Just don't forget that this one is for one week only. The Scrapbooking Queen Royal Digi Challenge #8-Morther/Flowers

Happy Monday everyone!!! This is a real special Monday, ya know. It just happens to be the last one for April and that can only mean one thing. Yep, time for a new challenge at The Scrapbooking Queen Royal Digi Challenge. Our theme for this challenge is Mother/Flowers. I chose this awesome digi from Pink Cat Studio called Butterfly on Tall Stem. Check out their blog here. I used my Copics to color the digi, then trimmed it down and rounded the corners. I dug around in my stash until I found this s e i paper pad called Chocolat, that I forgot that I had. (guess that means I have way to much stuff) I rounded the corners of everything. My card base and the bg papers. The sentiments are from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps Mother's Day stamp set. The bling is from Prima-Say it in Crystals. That's it. Now we sure hope you will hop over to The Scrapbooking Queen Royal Challenge  and check out the projects that my DT Sisters have created for inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!! Exploring Cricut Daily Project

I hope everyone is having a wonderful Saturday! Hard to believe it is the last Saturday of April. These months are flying by with lightning speed. Before we know it, it will be.......4th of July!!! Thought I was gonna say Christmas, didn't ya?!! Hahahaha Since it is the last Saturday of April, I get the pleasure of presenting the daily project at Exploring Cricut. I hope you have been checking out the other daily projects that my DT Sisters have created this week. Awesomeness for sure!!!! And I sure hope you have linked up a box project for our current challenge. If you haven't yet, you have until 9pm, EST, tonight. Now on to my daily project. I made 4- 3x3 mini cards. I used the Create A Critter cartridge and cut the tulip from page 44 at 2 inches and the butterfly from page 64 at 1 1/2 inches. I cut extra of the butterfly wings and the tulip bloom so I could pop them up. I used my Gypsy Girl so I could hide the cutouts of the face on the tulips. I wanted to use these cute Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment stamps from Peachy Keen Stamps. On the butterflies I just used a black pen and make the eyes. I then used some Star Dust Stickles on the body of the butterflies and Frosted Lace Stickles on the inside of the wings. All of the papers and cardstocks I used for these cards are from my scrapbin. The heart buttons are from my stash and the little round ones I got at Hobby Lobby. I found them in the fabric section. The sentiments I used are from Scrappy Mom's Mini Messages stamp set. Don't forget to join us for our current challenge. You have until 9pm EST tonight, so plenty of time still to play along. You just might be the lucky one to win the Cricut cartridge that's being given away!!! Hope ya'll like my little mini cards!!!! :)

Bitten By The Bug 2-Bumblebee or Ladybug

Bitten By The Bug 2 is having a fun challenge right now! They want a project using a bumblebee or a ladybug using any cartridge. I decided to use both on my card. I used the DoodleCharms cartridge for the ladybug. It can be found on page 94. My bumblebee came from the Pooh and Friends cartridge. It is on page 17. I coated the body parts of the ladybug and the bumblebees wings in Crystal Stickles and the yellow parts of the bumblebee are coated in Star Dust Stickles. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper stamp sets, Punny-licious and More Punny-licious. I punched it out using an EK Success punch and did some faux stitching around it with a Gelly Roll Pen in Rose Star. The buttons are from my stash. I used some Lilac twine from The Twinery  on the button on the front. The pattern bg paper is from doodlebug design-little lady. I finished off my card with some little faux black half pearls for the eyes and on the ends of the antennas. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Exploring Cricut-'It's A Box' Challenge

Good happy Monday morning!!!! Hope ya'll had an awesome weekend. I did!! DD and I went to see Hunger Games yesterday afternoon. We soooooo loved it!!!! But that isn't why I'm here today. It just so happens to be challenge day at Exploring Cricut. And do we have a great challenge for ya!!! We would love for you to make a box. Yep, you heard me right. We want a box. If I can do it, I know your can!!! Just make sure you use your Cricut for your box and make sure it's a new project please. No back links. There are a lot of cartridges out there that have a box or two or three and even more on them for you to choose from. I used the Wrap It Up cartridge for my box. I cut the one on page 42. I used my Gypsy Girl and enlarged the box to fit the page. It ended up being 9.35 height and 11.63 width. Now if you use your Expression, just use the fit to page feature and it will size it just right. I used the hide contour button and hid all of the tick marks. I used a thicker cardstock and did not want the tick marks to stick out like they tend to do sometimes. Not that I'm an expert on box making. Mine usually don't turn out as well as I think this one did. Yeah, I'm really proud of this box. I used DCWV the Mariosa Stack for my box. It has a white back so that was perfect for the inside. I then cut my flower out of the DCWV the Mariposa Cardstock Stack. It is double sided which I thought was perfect for the flower and leaves. I used the Flower Shoppe cartridge for my flower. I cut Heart 2 at 2.25 and 1.25 inches and Heart 3 at 2.75 inches. These can be found on page 14. Then I went to page 22 and cut Heart 5 leaves at 1.75 inches. I spritzed the flower and leaves with Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz. I also spritzed the butterflies that I punched using a Martha Stewart punch. I glued my flower together, and added a Prima Pearl in the center and attached it to the top of my box. On three sides I added some Prima Say It In Pearls and the butterflies. I then made a 3x3 little card using the same cardstock that I made the box from as my bg papers. Added a butterfly and some of the pearls. The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's stamp set-Mini Messages. I am so very pleased with how this box and little card turned out. I hope you will check out the projects that my DT Sisters and our Special Guest have created for some inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!!! And then head to your crafty area and make a box project for us to come by and ohhh and ahhh over!!! You have until 9pm, EST, Saturday April 28th to link your project up over at Exploring Cricut. Hope ya'll like my box and little card!!!! :)

Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge-Color Me a Rainbow

It's time for a new challenge for the Cardz TV Stamps Design Team!!! We are so excited!! Our theme is 'Color Me a Rainbow'!! We would love for you to play along!! Create a card or craft project for any ocassion using colors from the rainbow....pink, blue, green and yellow ONLY...you can also add small amounts of black and white. Isn't this an exciting challenge?! I had so much fun with this one!!! I pulled out an all time favorite Create A Critter. I cut the cow and the grass. The cow I cut at 4 inches and the grass at 1.25 inches. Now, I did use my Gypsy Girl and weld three pieces of grass together, but one piece is 1.25 inches. Alll of the papers that I used for my cuts came from my scrapbin. You would think that by this point that thing would be almost empty, but noooooo, there seems to be no end to it!!!! The sentiment is from Mary's-Cardz TV Stamps Farmyard Funnies stamps set. Such a super fun set to play with!!!! Hop over and take a look at all the awesome stamps Mary has. I finished off my card by adding some buttons from my stash. I hope you will take a look at the creations my DT Sisters have created to inspire you. Awesomeness for sure!!! And then head to your crafty area and create something to enter into our challenge. You just might be the lucky one to win your choice of one of Mary's stamp sets!! How cool is that?!! You can check them all out right here and see which one you would choose. And if you just can't wait to see if you win, order a set or 2 or 3.........you won't be sorry!! Our challenge goes from today-4/20 until Sunday the 22nd. Mary will announce the winner on Monday. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Birthday Card for Co-worker

I have a card to show ya'll that I made for one of the guys that I work with. His birthday is tomorrow. I've been neglecting my Imagine for a while now. Shame on me!!! I'm gonna have to do better! I got the Buccaneer Imagine Cartridge from the Rewards site and I think I'm gonna like using it. I used the top pirate on page 3 and it's layers and the treasure chest on page 18 and it's layers. I colored and cut the pirate at 4 1/2 inches and the chest at 2 1/2 inches. I popped up all of the layer pieces on the pirate and the chest. Then I printed my bg paper using the design on the right on page 44. I flood filled a whole 12/12 sheet of white cardstock and then cut out what I wanted to use for my background. The edges were white so I cut the white parts off and it makes it looks ragged. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms  Designers Choice stamp set. Have an awesome Friday and upcoming weekend!!!! Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Bitten By The Bug 2-Birthday Balloons

Bitten By The Bug 2 is having a Balloons and Birthday Card Challenge. And you can use any cartridge that you have as long as you make a birthday card and have balloons on it! Yeah!! How simple is that?! Well, it was a little hard trying to decide which balloons to make, bit I finally decided to go with the Create A Critter cartridge. I cut the bear and the bear balloons. I cut the 'string' off so I could use some twine from The Twinery. I used Honeydew, Blossom, Buttercream and Shore. I also used some Star Dust Stickles on the balloons and bears ears and some Glossy Accents on the bears eyes and nose. The bg paper is from K and Company-confetti Designer Paper Pad. The sentiment is from Some Odd Girl. I won this stamp set from the last challenge that Birthday Sundaes had. Did a litte bit of doodling on the bears dress. And thats it. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Paper Playtime-Say It With Sentiments-Birthday

Here it is Monday. And the third Monday of the month at that. And ya know what that means? A new challenge at Paper Playtime. The third Monday brings the Say It With Sentiments challenge. We would love for you to make a birthday card with a sentiment on it. How easy could that be?! I used this great Theodore digi that I got as a freebie from Bugaboo Digi Stamps. I think he is adorable!! I colored him with my Copics and added a little red pompom to the top of his cap. The sentiment is from a wooden stamp I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I trimmed both the digi and the sentiment piece down and rounded the corners. The bg paper is from Sassafras-Bungle Jungle. The twine is Maraschino from The Twinery. I dug through my button jar until I found some red buttons that I liked. That's it. Hope over and check out what my DT Sister's created for inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!!! We sure hope you join our challenge. It's as easy as can be. Just make a birthday card with a sentiment on it and link it up so we can come by and see!!! You have until noon, EST, on Saturday, April 28th. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)
I don't have a picture of the inside. I couldn't get a good one at all. All I did was add a button to it.

Disney Week-Day 7-Dopey

Here it is. The last day of Disney Week!! I sure hope ya'll had as much fun checking out what we have created as we did making them!! This sure has been a great week! Thank you Janis!!!! I saved my most favorite Disney character for last. Dopey from Snow White. I so love Dopey!!!! He is as happy as can be and is always smiling!!!! I have a big Dopey doll sitting on my chest of drawers in my bedroom and a small one sitting on one of the tables in my crafty room. I also have a Dopey watch. It's really hard to find stuff with just Dopey on it. Okay, on to my card. I used the Happily Every After cartridge. I cut Dopey from page 67 at 4 1/4 inches. I used some Glossy Accents of his eyes and tongue. I put some Crystal Stickles on his buttons and belt buckle. I did a little bit of doodling. The flowers are from Michaels. They were white, so I used some pink chalk on them and added a faux half pearl to the center of each. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Designers Choice stamp set. The butterfly is also from this stamp set. The bg pattern paper is from my scrapbin. My card is a stairstep card. I'm not really good at making stairstep cards, but this one wasn't to bad. I also popped up the whole swan on my card. I also added some Prima Say It With Pearls. The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Mini Messages stamp set. I did some faux stitching with my white gelly roll pen. And that's it! Have an awesomely wonderful weekend everyone!! Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

I am so glad you are here!!! Makes me feel special that you took a moment out of your day to stop by. I so like good company!!! I used the Pooh and Friends cartridge this time. I cut the flowers on page 26. I cut the ones on the front at 4 3/4 inches and the ones on the inside at 2 1/2 inches. I cut extra blooms so I could pop the top layer up. I did some doodling and used Glossy Accents on the dark pink part of the blooms. The buttons are some I got when Walmart first started selling the studio g stuff. I used some Blossom twine from The Twinery in the buttons. I used my scallop scallop punch from EK Success on a strip of white cardstock. I then cut it down and added it to the front of my card. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink Handwritten Notes stamp set. the bg pattern paper came from my scrapbin. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Everyday Occasions stamp set. I punched a 1 inch circle, stamped my sentiment on it. Then punched a 1 1/4 inch circle and then a 1 1/2 inch circle. Stacked them, punched a hole in the top and but a grommet in it and ran the twine through it as I wrapped it around the top of my card. I used Blossom twine from The Twinery. The pattern bg paper is from my scrapbin. The buttons are from Hobby Lobby. I found these in the fabric department. Make sure you check out my crafty friends creations!! Awesomeness for sure!!!! Disney Week-Day Four-Dory

Hello! Hello!! Welcome back! It is so good to see ya'll again!!!! For today's card I used the Best of Pixar cartridge. I really like Dory. Bless her heart, she just can't always remember everything. Kinda a bit like me!!! I cut the Dory from page 24 at 3 1/2 inches. And I cut the bubbles at 1 1/ 2 inches. I used some Glossy Accents on the bubbles and on Dory's eyes. The bg patterned paper is from Disney Mega Paper Pad. The shells are buttons. They had those hoop things on the bottom that you sew through and the button stands out. I used some snippers and snipped those off so the buttons would lay flat. The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's stamp set Amusing Friends. Check out the list below of my crafty friends and go over and see what awesomeness they have created!!! Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)
This next picture is really bad. I took a lot of them and this is the best one. Sorry!!!!

Bitten By The Bug 2-Princess

I had so much fun making this layout for the current Bitten By The Bug 2 challenge. They want a project made with the word Princess using any Cricut cartridge. I used the Life's A Party cartridge for my cuts. The Phrase can be found on page 52, the crown on page 32 and the photo mats are the card on page 39. I used Coredinations-Gemstones Cardstock for all of my cuts. The gems on the crown are from Paper Studio-Hobby Lobby. The big one was a brad. I clipped the prongs off. All of them were clear so I colored them with R83-Rose Mist Copic. The swirl bing is from Say it in Crystals. Hope ya'll like my layout!!! :)
I always have a hard time taking pictures of a 12x12 layout. It didn't help a bit that it turned cloudy outside, either!! Sorry for the poor photo!

Disney Week-Day Three-So Glad........

I'm so happy that you chose to come back by today to see what I have made for Day Three of Disney Week. This go around I used the Happily Ever After cartridge. I cut the scissors from page 34 and the thread/needle from page 35. I cut both at 2 inches. I coated the sissors, spool and needle with Glossy Accents and the thread with Crystal Stickles. The bg patterned paper I used are from Cosmo Cricket-Material Girl. The buttons are some of those studio g ones that I got at Walmart. The sentiment was computer generated, trimmed down and I rounded the corners. I popped up the sentiment and the sissors. I hope you have been able to visit my crafty friends and checked out their Disney creations. There is a list below of my friends. (Just click on a name and it will take you right to their blog.) Awesomeness for sure!!!! Hope ya'll like my card. And I'll see ya back here tomorrow!!!!! :)

Disney Week Day 2-Pooh Honey Bees

Welcome back to Disney Week! We are now on day 2 of presenting you with Disney projects. I hope you checked out what my crafty friends created. Awesomeness for sure!!! Today I decided to use The Pooh and Friends cartridge. I cut the beehive on page 16, the bee on page 17 and the butterfly on page 24. Hive cut at 2 1/2 inches, bees cut at 1 inch and the butterflies were cut at 1 1/4th inch. Again I used scraps from my scrapbin to make my cuts. The bg designer paper is from Cosmo Cricket-Garden Variety. The sentiment is from 2 different stamps sets from Cardz TV Stamps. I used Sweet Talk for the word 'Sweet' and Home for Christmas for the word 'Friend'. I masked the rest of this stamp so I could use just the word friend. Mary's stamps are just the best! Hop over and check them out! I used some Crystal Stickles on the bees wings and on the butterflies. I also cut out extra wings so I could pop up the top layer. Makes them look like they are flying! I also used some Glossy Accents on the yellow parts of the bees and the dark blue parts on the butterfly. I hope you are enjoying our Disney Week projects so far. I know we are having a ball!!! See ya back here tomorrow!!! Hope ya'll like my card!!!!!! :)

Exploring Cricut 'April Showers Bring Us Flowers'

Warning:Picture Heavy!
Here it is, the start of another week! But it isn't just any old Monday! Oh No!!! It's time for a new challenge at Exploring Cricut. Our theme this time is 'April Showers Bring Us Flowers'. Make sure your project includes a cricut cut and flowers. This is the gift I gave my Secret Sister at Church for Easter. It goes with the Spring gift I gave her. It was the most adorable pot shaped like rainboots with frog faces on them!! I got it at Hobby Lobby. I bought a plant at Lowes and put it in the pot. I also gave her the card I made for the last challenge. If you didn't see the Easter card I posted yesterday, scroll down. It is the one I gave her with her gift. I used the Flower Shoppe cartridge to cut all of the flowers. I used the one on page 16. I didn't use all of the cuts from this page though. I used my Gypsy Girl and welded together fun 3 so it would cut as one piece. I made 3 different sizes. Each petal is 2.72 height, 2.01 height and 1.48 height. then I cut fun 2 at 3.25 height and 2.54 height. Two different sizes for that one. I used the leaf called heart 5 and cut them at 2.25 height. It can be found at #43 on the overlay. I used the hide contour and hid the holes from the middle. All of the papers I used for the cuts are from my scrapbin. I misted each flower piece and the leaves with water and crumpled them up and then flattened them out. When they dried, I misted them with  Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist. I curled up the ends of the petals, and then punched a hole in the center and attached them together with pearl brads that came from Hobby Lobby. I cut down some wooden skewers and painted them with light green acrylic paint. I used glue dots to attach the flowers to the skewers. I made 6 flowers. The watering can came from Hobby Lobby. Now if I were really crafty, I would have painted a beautiful picture on the side, but I can't draw or paint pictures worth a flip!! And I couldn't find a painted can anywhere! I crumbled up some tissue paper and put inside the can and stuck the flowers in. I had picked up some Easter chocolates just for this gift. I love the ones shaped like carrots!!
It is now your turn to create a project using your cricut and flowers. I'm so looking forward to visiting you and seeing what you made. You have until 9pm EST, Saturday, April 14th to link up your project. Check out what my DT Sisters created for some inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!!!
We would love for you to come back each day and see our daily projects, too.
Hope ya'll like my project!!!! :)

Happy Easter and a card

I want to wish each of you a very Happy Easter!!! And don't forget to remember the reason we celebrate. Our Lord and Saviour died on the cross and rose again for us, the lowly sinner. I am so thankful for each of you that honor me with a visit to my blog and a sweet comment on my creations. God has truly blessed me with awesomely wonderful friends!!!
I made this card for my Secret Sister at Church. I used the free digi from Dee's Bugaboo Boutique. She makes these and then offers them to everyone for free!!! Such beautiful work!! The cross is a wooden stamp that I picked up at Hobby Lobby. I've had it for a while. The bg paper I pulled out of my stash. I colored the 'Risen' and the cross/flowers with my Copics. Hope ya'll like my card.
I hope each of you have a Blessed Easter!!
Come by tomorrow and see what I gave my Secret Sister for Easter.

Disney Week-Day One-Thumper

Hello Everyone! And Happy Easter!!! Thank you so much for taking a little time out of your day to stop by. We are so very excited to be presenting Disney Week!! Each day from today, April 8th through Sat. April 14th, you will find a new Disney project on a lot of the blogs listed below. Now, everyone may not have a project everyday, but someone will have something posted everyday. Now does that make any sense?! I will try to have something each day. Now, this is not a blog hop. It is just a group of crafters that are excited to share some Disney projects with you.
For my card today I used the Disney Classic cartridge. I cut Tumper from page 66 and the flowers are from page 67. Thumper was cut at 3 inches and the flowers at 1 1/2 inches. All of my cuts are from papers from my scrapbin. The bg pattern paper is from Disney Mega Paper Pad. I picked it up last year at Hobby Lobby. The flower buttons are studio g that I just got at Walmart Saturday. They come in two different styles and several different colors. They already have the adhesive on the back and are only 97 cents. Not a bad deal!!! The sentiment is from Scrappy Mom's Mini Messages stamp set. I used some Crystal Stickles on Thumper and the center of the flowers and used Glossy Accents on Thumpers eye and nose. Scroll down and take a look at the list of talented crafters and then head over to their blogs and see the awesomeness they have to share with ya'll!! Hope ya'll like my card!!!!
Come back by tomorrow and check out the card I made for tomorrows Disney Week project and it's also the start of a new challenge for Exploring Cricut.  :)

Bunnies and Easter is the theme for this month. You have until Saturday, April 27th at 12pm to enter a project. And you can enter more than one, as long as it has a digi on it and it fits our theme. I used Copics to color Eggbert.  Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #105

The current Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a card for any occasion using a frame from any cartridge and using any colors. I wanted something different for this card. I pulled out my Art Nouveay cartridge and started flipping through it. I had searched 'frame' on my Gypsy Girl so I knew that there were frames on this cartridge. I decided on this one from page 71. It is 'font 2' shift. I really like this flower vase so I thought it would look good framed. It can be found on page 69. The bg paper and the papers I used to cut my pieces came from my scrapbin. I'm really trying to get that thing as close to empty as possible. I think it is bottomless though!!! The piece I stamped my sentiment on is from the piece that cut from the inside of the frame. I stamped and them cut the top off. The sentiment is from Scrappy Moms Mini Messages stamp set. I added faux half pearls to complete my card. Hope ya'll like it!!!! :)

Disney Week-April 8th-April 14th

My awesomely wonderful friend Janis of Pause Dream Enjoy has put together a fantastic group of crafters to have a Disney Week. Now, this isn't a blog hop. It is just crafters that want to share some Disney creations with ya'll. There will be a list of all the crafters at the end of each post so you can hop over and check out what the other's create. We would love for ya'll to just come by and check out all of the projects. There is Disney excitement in the air!!! :)

Paper Playtime-Delicious Die Cuts-Umbrella

It's the first Monday of the month. And that can only mean one thing. Time for a new challenge for the Delicious Die Cuts at Paper Playtime. Our theme is Umbrella. Use a die cut of an umbrella on your project. You can use any die cut machine that you may have. I decided to use the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge. I cut Oscar The Grouch and the sun. I just love Oscar's umbrella!! I dug through my stash and found this tan paper and I teamed it up with the sky paper. I used a Happy Lashes Assortment stamp from Peachy Keen Stamps for the sun's face. My sentiment is from the Hugs and Kisses set from Cardz TV Stamps. That's it! It is now your turn to create. Just make sure it is a new project (no backlinks) and use a die cut umbrella. You have until noon, Saturday, April 14th to link your creations up. So looking forward to seeing what you come up with. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)
