This week at Bitten By The Bug 2 they want a project featuring a shamrock and the color green. I'm not the best at doing St Patty's day stuff, but I do try. This is my second attempt to get a card made for this challenge. I just didn't like the first. It wasn't right. It went into the recycle box. I was working on another card at the same time (do ya'll do that, too?), and I had picked this card base and bg papers for the other card. But decided it would work better for my shamrock card. I cut the shamrock and it's shadow from the Designer's Calendar cartridge and the rainbow was cut from the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge. The rainbow had a cloud on each end, but I cut off one of them so I could slip it under my shamrock. The sentiment is from a stamp set that Hobby Lobby put out. I've had it for several years. It has different stamps for different holidays. I did a small bit of doodling. That's it. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Sharon, I love your little card... The checkered paper is just perfect, the rainbow sets the pretty shamrock off so nice. Thanks for joining us on our BBTB2 Shamrock challenge.

Sweet card, Sharon. The rainbow is perfect to go with the shamrock and I just love the sentiment. Thanks for playing along this week at BBTB2.
Great card - I love the little rainbows!
I really like the rainbow tucked behind the shamrock...looks great! I always have a tough time with St. Patrick's Day cards also. Guess there is only so much my little brain can think of to do with shamrocks and the color green ;0) But, I think your card is just perfect!
