Paper Playtime #45

Monday. First day of a new week. Day after Mother's Day. Hope ya'll got just what you wanted. My best gift is that God has Blessed me with the best Children and Children In Law's that anyone could ever hope to have. And that we are all safe and sound. And my Mom. What a woman!! Best Mom in the whole world!!!!! I got Pack Your Bags Cartridge for Mother's Day! Whoo Hoo!!! I picked it out. LOL DD and I are going to do dinner and a movie when a good movie comes out that we both want to see. This is also the day that we are doing our 'other' challenge at Paper Playtime and this time we are making a tall card. Now a tall card is 9"X8"and scored at 4". You can make it using any theme and colors. And for an optional challenge, use your Cricut if you have one!!! I had this cute little owl cut from Kate's ABC's so I decided to use it on my card. I was using outdoor light to craft by since our power was out. Hard to do when your craft table isn't in front of the only window in the room. I picked out this pattern paper. Sorry, don't know where it came from. Then I just started searching for something I thought would go with it. I found the lilac and thought it would work. I couldn't really tell what color it was so I was really just going on, 'okay looks like it just might match'! I really like the lilac with the pattern and the pinks of the owl and hearts. The hearts are punched and then I stamped these sweet little Peachy Keen faces from the Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment set on them. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Tweetie Hoo Puns set. Added some little pearls in two of the corners and did a little bit of doodling.  You have until Saturday, May 24th to link up your tall card. While you're over there linking, check out what the 'Queens' have created to inspire you! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)
