Triangle Trifold Birthday Card

Janis over at Pause Dream Enjoy is doing a great little challenge. She loves learning new ways to fold cards. She wants to see your fun fold cards!! She has this great little list but it would be great if you could come up with something that's not listed. Now, she wants it to be a 'new' card and not one you made a while back. Link it directly to the card and not a general link to your whole blog. She also wants you to include measurements and how to instructions on your post so she can make one. That's why I thought it would be great to make one she doesn't have listed. Something new for Janis to make!! You can enter more than once, but each entry must be a new card with a different fun fold!! And of course she is giving blog candy. Peachy Keen Stamps!! All she asks is you to have a US shipping address because of the cost of postage. You have until noon CST March 31st to enter and she will announce the winner Friday, April 1st. Now on to my card:
I have a wonderful friend whos DD is turning 16 soon, so I made her this card. It is a triangle trifold card. Starting with a 4x12 card base, score at 4" and 8". On the left side sq. score from bottom left corner to top corner where you scored at 4"  and then the right sq. score from the top left where you scored at 8" and scored down to the right bottom outside corner. These are angle scores.(See the bottom photo to see what I'm trying to say here!) Crease at the 4" score and fold back the angle and then repeat on the other side. Cut a 3 3/4" sq. and then cut it in half on the angle to go on the two angle folds. Cat a 3 3/4" sq. fro inside middle sq. and then a 3x3" sq. to layer if you like. For the front piece, cut a 3" sq., a 2 3/4" sq. and if you would like another layer, one that is 2 1/4" sq. Layer them and before you attach it to the front, take a ribbon or twine like I used (from The Twinery-Pea Pod) and wrap around the back and attach sqs. over it on the front to hold it on. If you use ribbon, you can adhere it on the back. To attach the front piece, fold card and square up at the bottom and put adhesive only on the top left half at an angle and add to the front of your card. Don't put adhesive on the whole piece or your card won't open!! Now add all of your embellies!!! Since this is a 16th birthday card, I used the car cut from Smiley Cards. The free download a while back for Gypsy owners. I hid the face they had on there so I could add this great face from Peachy Keen Everyday Character Face Parts and More stamp set. Yeah, I kinda like those Peachy Keen stamps!! Well, okay, I love them!! They just add something great to my cards!!!
Okay, now it is your turn!!! Create a fun fold card!! Link it up and maybe, hopefully, you just might win a great set of Peachy stamps yourself!!! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)
