Bitten By The Bug 2-Ladybug

This week over at Bitten By The Bug 2 the challenge is to use the ladybug from the Boys Will Be Boys cartridge. If you don't have this cart (which I don't) you can use one from another cartridge. I decided to do the ladybug border from the Walk in My Garden cartridge. I designed it all on my Gypsy Girl so I could do different patterned shells. I also did the buttercup border. I cut three of those. The clouds are from Simply Charmed and the sun is from Hello Kitty Greetings. All of these were cut from scraps from my scrap bin. The cardbase and the bg paper are from my stash. I did a little bit of doodling and did the eyes with my jelly roll pen. I have not added any type of sentiment to this one. I will when I decide what to use it for or whom I'll give it to. Now, it says that you have two weeks to complete a project and link it. (I'm well ahead of myself here! Did you notice that?!) So that means you have until Sunday, March 20th. Plenty of time to create and link and join in the fun!!! Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)
I am gonna have to figure out how to take better pictures with the white paper. I took this one right after theother one and it looks terrible! Could not get it to look as good as the other one does. Anyone have any suggestions for me?

Thanks for letting us know! :) Now I can definitely join in on the fun! :)
Your card is super duper cute!! :) I actually have the B is for Boys cartridge and didn't even notice a ladybug on it!! Crazy how our eyes miss things...
I have a similar problem with my camera and the only thing I've found that helps is to edit the pictures on my computer before I upload them. Usually I just hit the "auto adjust" or "auto correct" button and it works. It doesn't make them look perfect, but definitely brighter and more true to their colors then before :)
I hope that helps! :)

Sharon this is such a cute card. Love the ladybugs and daffodils.

I use a display board behind my cards. They come in a variety of colors. You can try that and just switch out when you have a white back ground--hope this helps
