Crafty Creations-Rose
This week at Crafty Creations the theme is the poem A Red, Red Rose by Robert Burns. So I made a red rose card. I chose the rose from the Happily Ever After Cartridge. What better rose to use for a love poem than the rose from Beauty and the Beast!! The rose bloom is cut form core'dinations cardstock. I think it gave it the perfect texture. The sentiment is computer generated. Then I cut the tag out on my Cuttlebug from the Spellbinders Shapeabilities Standard Tag Die Cut. I cut 4 of them to give my tag a chipboard thickness. I punched a hole in the top with my Crop-a-dile and put in the eyelet. The twine is Pink Sorbet from The Twinery. The pattern cardstock is from Colorbok-Love Paper Pad. I used Iridescent Gold Glimmer Mist on the rose and tag to give them some shine. I don't think you can tell that in the photos though. Hop on over and join in on the fun! You have plenty of time to create something and get it linked up. They won't post a new challenge until Wednesday. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)
