School

Morning ya'll!! Hope this fine morning finds you doing well. Are you ready for the new week? How about a new month? It's right there, tomorrow! Well, I know that I am ready for the new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 and I hope you are too. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Emily is our hostess this week. And she has challenged us and you to make a project for 'School' using a Cricut cut.
I decided to make a layout page. For the title I used the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge. For the Crayon Border I used the Recess cartridge. I used My Community for the Paper in the left corner and Simply Charmed for the Scissors and Glue. I did print and cut for the border, scissors and glue.

a sign of....

Good morning my wonderful crafty friends!! Hope all is well with you this fine Thursday morning. It is my turn to have the honor of presenting the project at Cardz TV Gallery today. Each day, Monday thru Friday one of my wonderfully talented DT Sister's present a project using Mary's Cardz TV Stamps. There are so many ways you can use them and on some many projects. Today I am making a card for Fall. We are having a little taste of Fall weather here right now. A nice nip in the air this week. It won't last, but it sure is nice while it does!!
I used this wonderful Cutie KaToodles Autumn Squirrel from Kadoodle Bug Designs. It is totally adorable!! I popped it up on foam tape. I added some twine and a sentiment from the 'Fall Fun' stamp set to the inside to finish up my card.

Best Friends

Good Monday morning to ya!!! Well the weekend has passed and we start a new week. The last full week of August. This month is going by pretty fast. It being Monday means something though. A new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Caroline is hosting this weeks challenge. She has challenged us and you to make a project, using a Cricut cut that has something to do with 'Friendship'. I found this cut on the Something to Remember cartridge. Using the print and cut feature on my Explore made quick work of this card. The pattern bg paper is from the 'My Reflections Zoe' collection from Close to my Heart. You can get this collection by visiting Susan's Close to my Heart shopping page here. These pattern papers are great. The sentiment is from the 'Love Right Now' stamp set that I got when I bought the Artistry Cartridge that I ordered from Susan's site. I finished off my card with some white faux half pearls.

Have a Grape day!

Morning!! We had a great weekend. Hope you did, too. I'm ready for the new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 and I hope you are too. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Brenda is hosting this week. She has challenged us to make a project using any Cricut cut of 'Fruit'. I kinda just sat at my work table and had to think about this one. I wanted something a little different. I looked through the Preserves cartridge and decided to make the bunch of grapes. And I wanted them on a tag. I cut the tag from the Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 cartridge. I used some Stampin' Up Blackberry Bliss ink and inked up my tag. Darker at the bottom and lighter at the top. I cut two of the leaves and popped the top one up on the other. I used some seam binding that I crinkled and dyed. I finished off my tag with a sentiment from the 'Foodie Punnies' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.

I found this great Latte Cup Card at My Scrap Chick. I love how it turned out. I did some doodling with my white gel pen. The sentiment is from Mary's 'Brew Ha Ha!' stamp set. You can get a set for yourself by going here.

Happy Birthday Cake

Morning!! Here it is Monday again. And do you know what that means? Yeah, a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Melanie is hosting this week. She has challenged us and you to make a 'Birthday Card' using a Cricut cut. I'm so happy about this challenge. I am in need of more birthday cards for my stash. I decided to use the Imagine Cartridge-The Good Old Days. It print and cut wonderfully using my Explore. The banner across the bottom is from a 6x6 My Mind's Eye pad called Life of the Party. The sequins are from Lawn Fawn. And the sentiment is from a My Craft Spot stamp set called 'Build A Birthday'.

Life's A Beach

Good morning!!! Hope ya had a great weekend. Ours was wonderful. It was a little bit more comfortable here. We had no humidity and the temperature was in the high 80's instead of 90's. Really nice except when we were mowing!!!
Let me get on to why we are here. Today starts a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented leader Susan has challenged us and you to make a project with the theme 'Cool Down By The Sea'. Now, with the temperature's being as they are, wouldn't we all love to be down by the sea?!!!
I decided to make a scrapbook page this week. Here is a list of the cartridges and cuts from them:
