You're Snow.........

Morning Crafty Friends!! Hope your week is going great. I was off work the last two days and got to get in my crafty room. Today is my day to showcase a project at Cardz TV Gallery. I got the Frozen cartridge last week and didn't have a chance to play with it. I just had to make a card. So that is what I am showcasing today. And of course one of Mary's stamps!!! I cut Olaf. Doesn't he look so happy? The pattern paper is from the Doodlebug Design-Frosty Friends 6x6 pad. I cut snow drifts and coated them and Olaf in White Ink of Stella. I used the Clear Ink of Stella on the colored parts of Olaf. I added some Doodlebug Christmas Assortment Sprinkles and then finished my card off with a sentiment from the 'Snow Day' stamp set.
I hope ya'll have been visiting Cardz TV Gallery to check out the projects that my DT Sister's have been showcasing each day, Monday thru Friday. If you haven't, then I can assure you that you have been missing some awesomeness for sure!!!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

You're one in a Melon!

Morning Crafty Friends!!! Hope you had a fun and relaxing weekend and are now ready for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented leader Susan is hosting this week. She has challenge us and you to make a project using a Cricut cut of a 'Slice of a Watermelon'. I love watermelons. We have two different type growing in our garden. Can't wait for the first to be ready to pick!!
I chose the watermelon slice from the Preserves cartridge for my card. I cut it and glossy accented the seeds. Popped it up on my card with some foam tape. All except the base is paper from Carta Bella-Summer Loving 6x6 pad. The sentiment is from the 'Garden Greetings' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I finished the front with some Dear Lizzy Enamel Dots. The inside has a smaller melon slice, some enamel dots and the sentiment is from the 'Bigger Everyday Sayings' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I am rather pleased with how it turned out.
Please head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the projects that my DT Sister's have made. I can assure it they are awesomeness for sure!!!!

Rachelle Birthday Bash Blog Hop

Good morning everyone!! We are so glad you have decided to join our blog hop honoring our wonderful friend Rachelle's birthday. Happy Birthday Rachelle!!!!
If you got here from Deb's blog then you are in the right place. If you just decided to stop by, well thank you. How about joining us for our blog hop? You will really enjoy all of the projects that these talented ladies have made. Just start at the beginning with Rachelle. She has some awesome blog candy to giveaway too!!! Make sure you read the rules for how to be in the draw to win.
In honor of Rachelle's birthday, I have made two cards.
This first card I used an SVG from My Scrap Chick called Bee-e. I cut it out using my Cricut Explore. I added some clear Wink of Stella to it's wings and Glossy Accents to the eyes. I embossed the bg using the Cuttlebug Honeycomb embossing folder. The sentiment on the front is from the 'Birds and Bees' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I added some Bo Bunny-Modern Miss Jewels to the corners of the sentiment piece and popped it up. On the inside, I used the border embossing folder from the Honeycomb set. The inside sentiment is from the 'Heartfelt Basics' stamp set from Papertrey Ink. I finished the inside with some more of the Bo Bunny Jewels.

The second card is a cut file from the Silhouette Store. It is called Bronto Dinosaur and file # 85866. I also cut the envelope that goes with it. It is file #85869. These are from Snapdragon Snippets. This file makes an a7 card. Very simple and easy to make using my Silhouette Cameo. I used the pieces, little dinosaur and dinosaur feet to put on the inside. I think it is perfect for the little guy in your life that's having a birthday.

Well, that is it for me. I hope you like my cards!!!!
Oh, wait. I have some blog candy to give away, too!! Please just leave one comment and a way for me to get in touch with you should you win. I will pick the winner using random.org on Saturday and will post the winner that evening. What will you win you ask. How about a $10 Hobby Lobby gift card? Sound pretty good? Yeah, I like those too!!!

In honor of your birthday...

Good Monday morning!! Today is the start of a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented DT Emily is hosting this week. The challenge is to make a shaped card.
I decided to make my own shaped card. Using my Explore, I took this cute cut from the 'Smiley Cards' cartridge, ungrouped the pieces, make a copy of the base of the cake, flipped it and welded it together. I just love how it turned out!!! I used some Clear Wink of Stella on the candle flames and the blacks of the eyes are coated in glossy accents. I used some Pebbles, Inc-Candy Dots to decorate the icing. The sentiment is from the 'Happy Days' stamp set and the inside one is from the 'Foodie Punnies' set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
Head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the shaped cards that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!!!! While you are there, check the sidebar for the rules for our challenges. Then head to your crafty space and create a shaped card using your Cricut.
Can't wait to see your cards!!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

She is all festive and so yummy looking. The pattern paper is from My Mind's Eye-Hootenanny 6x6 pad. I put the sentiment on the inside. It is from the 'Bigger Everyday Sayings' stamp set. I used some Clear Wink of Stella and glossy accents to finish up.

Wet 'n' Wild!

Morning Crafty Friends!!! Hope you had a great weekend and are ready for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. I have the honor of hosting the challenge this week!! Since it is so hot most places, I decided to go with a swimming &/or water theme this week. Make a project using a Cricut cut that has to do with water.
I've used this cut (the only reason I bought this one) from the 'Fun in the Sun' cartridge before. I cut it out and put it all together. That was way before my Explore and the Print and Cut!! I decided to Print and Cut it and use it this week. I cut two so I could pop her up. Then I got to thinking, she needs to be on an action wobble!!! So here she is, wobble away in the ocean!!! The sentiments that I used are from the 'A Day at the Beach' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. The bg pattern paper is from an old American Crafts set that I have.
Head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the creations that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!!!
While you are there, check the sidebar for the rules for our challenges. Then head to your crafty space and make a creation using a Cricut cut that has to do with swimming &/or water.
Can't wait to see what you make!!!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!!!! :)

With Heartfelt Sympathy

Evening to all of my crafty friends!! I hardly ever post in between my challenge team posts. But I bought some great Stampin' Up products and wanted to show you what I made with some of them.
The card base is Crumb Cake.
I added a layer of Bermuda Bay.
I stamped the sentiment on a White Tea Lace Doily using Versa Mark and them used Gold Embossing Powder.
The stamp set I used is 'Heartfelt Sympathy'.
I added a Very Vintage Button with some Linen Thread ran through the middle holes and tied in a bow.
I made a banner to go behind the doily using Rich Razzleberry.
The only thing that isn't from Stampin' Up is the Martha Stewart Butterfly Punch that I used. Those are punched from the Rich Razzleberry. I also coated them in Clear Wink of Stella. I realized after I took the pictures that I failed to do the one on the inside!! Will get that one done!
For the inside I layered Bermuda Bay, Rich Razzleberry and then Bermuda Bay again for the sentiment. It is also embossed.
The base idea for this card is in the latest Stampin' Up catalog. I just changed it up a little bit and made it like I wanted it.
If you have a need or just have a want for some Stampin' Up products, just visit my awesome friend Edna at Inkspirations With Edna. She is very talented and does great videos!! If you head over to her place, tell her that Sharon sent ya.
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

A Blasting 4th

Morning all!! Been busy this week and no end in sight until I get off work tomorrow!! Everyone is getting ready for the 4th and are buying lots of good food to grill!! Hope ya'll have some wonderful plans. We do!
Today is my turn to present the project of the day at Cardz TV Gallery. Since the 4th is Saturday, I just had to make a layout to put pictures on from our DD and SIL's big 4th bash! This is a file from Kadoodle Bug Designs called A Blasting 4th. I think this little bears are just darling! The rockets that I am going to do a little journaling on I made from a triangle and rectangle from George & Basic Shapes cartridge. The sentiments on them are from the 'Happy Days' Stamp set.
The photo pieces are open stock from Hobby Lobby.
I hope ya'll have been visiting Cardz TV Gallery. Every Monday to Friday one of the DT Sister's is presenting a crafty project using Mary's stamps. If you haven't been visiting, I just have to tell ya that you have been missing some awesomeness for sure!!!
