Morning, morning!!! Hope all is well in your world. Wonderful here!! It's Monday and time for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. What could be better than that?!
Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Michelle has challenged us and you to make a project using a Flag and/or Banner for the 4th!! Well, I made a banner and decided to make a card, too.
For my banner I used the Independence Day cartridge. I punched holes in the corners and ran Stars and Stripes Trendy Twine through them so it can be hung. Another banner for the 4th bash at our DD and SIL's.
For the card I just had to print and cut Elmo. He can be found on the Sesame Street Elmo & Friends cartridge. The pattern paper is open stock from Hobby Lobby.
The sentiment on the inside is from the 'Happy Days' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.

fun Food

Morning Crafty Friends!! Are ya ready for Monday morning and a new fun challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2? Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Melanie has challenged us and you to make a project using a Cricut cut of a food item. Did you know that today is Onion Ring Day? I didn't either until Melanie told us. How about that. I decided to go with a layout this week. I know!!!! A layout instead of a card!!! I used the print and cut feature on my Cricut Explore for all of the cuts. Fast and easy!!! The picnic table is from the Camp Out cartridge. The Food is from the Fast Food cartridge. The Title is from Baby Steps and the Sun is from the Sesame Street Seasons cartridges. I'm really pleased with how it turned out. I think that our oldest grandson (16 yrs.old) could eat that tall burger!!!!

Father's Day

Morning!! Thanks for stopping by!! I just had to show ya'll the card/gift card holder I made for my Dad! I so love it!!!! I made it using my Silhouette Cameo. It is called 'Creel Bag Shaped a7 Card'. It's by Snapdragon Snippets and is file number #81678 in the Silhouette Store.
I used some Wink of Stella on the yellow fish, the worn and the bobbin and I tied some Cappaccino twine from The Twinery onto the top of the bobbin. The sentiment is from the 'You're the Man' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I think Dad will like it!!!

I Love Bacon!

Morning all my lovely crafty friends!! Thanks for stopping by to visit. Today is my day to present the creations at Cardz TV Gallery. I used the latest free file from Kadoodle Bug Designs for my card. It is called Cutie KaToodles-I Love Bacon Pig. Isn't she just way to cute?! I used a little bit of glossy accents and Wink of Stella on this card. The Enamel Dots are Recollections. And I finished off my card with a sentiment from the 'More Foodie Punnies' stamp set.

Hello Everyone!! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty good. Are you ready to see what I've made for the new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2?  Maureen, our wonderful DT Sister is hosting again this week and she has challenged us and ya'll to make a project with a Cricut cut of a 'Lobster' on it. Well, I just couldn't pass up this chance to use Sebastien from the Disney-Princesses cartridge on my card!! I used the cut and print feature on my Explore to cut him, the Starfish from the same cartridge and the Sand from the Disney-Pixar-Best of Pixar cartridge. The clouds are from a punch. The sentiments are from the new 'Bigger Everyday Sayings' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.

A Banner Day

Good Monday morning Crafty Friends!! Hope all is well with you. Are you ready for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2? Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Maureen is our hostess this week. She has challenged us and you to make a 'Banner' using a Cricut cut. I am in the process of making things for our DD and SIL annual Fourth of July get together and decided that this would be a perfect opportunity to make a banner. I have made very very few banners. Okay, one. So I wanted one that can be used. I decided to use this Flag Banner from the Independence Day cartridge. I cut it at 5 inches wide, punched holes in the top corners and ran some Stars & Stripes Trendy Twine so I can hang it. I'm very please with how it turned out.
Sorry the picture isn't all that great. Didn't have a lot of places here to hang it to get a great picture.

I Love You More Than....

Morning!! Hope this wonderful Thursday finds ya'll all well and ready for a great weekend ahead. I have the great honor of sharing the project at Cardz TV Gallery today. I wasn't sure what I was going to make this week, but decided I needed to try one of the Cutie KaToodles from KaDoodle Bug Designs. I am now in love!! I own all of them and at some point I will get them all onto a card!!! This little Muddy Pig is just darling!!! I did some popping and used some Wink of Stella to finish up my little piggie. The sentiments are from Mary's new stamp set 'More Foodie Punnies'! You can get a set of these stamps for yourself by heading over to Cardz TV Stamps. The bg dp is from American Crafts. The Bride

Good Monday morning everyone!!! Sorry I had to bow out of last weeks challenge for Bitten By The Bug 2. Work is crazy when a holiday is near, so no crafting time. But here I am ready for this one. Hope you are, too. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Kelly is hosting this week challenge. She has challenged us and you to make a project with a theme of 'Wedding or Anniversary'. I wanted to make something that would be a great gift tag for a wedding gift. Maybe I made it a little bit big for that, but will be perfect for a big gift!! The card is from the Sweethearts cartridge. It cuts the sentiment out of the front, so I backed it with white so it would show. And of course I used the print and cut and did Cinderella dressed as a bride from the Disney Princesses cartridge. And I still have room to write to and from on the inside.
