Too Cute

Evening everyone! I know this is so unexpected of me. I usually don't have a post if it isn't DT related. But I was crafting DT stuff the past few days while I was off and decided to make a card that had nothing to do with a DT. I have a friend that I send her little girl cards for the holidays and decided to make her a St. Patrick's Day card. I found this adorable image in the Silhouette store. The file name is Baby Girl Holding Shamrock. She is by Stinkin Cute Paper Piecings. She is file #75433 and is a print and cut file. I enlarged her to fit most of the front of my card. Sorry, I didn't write down the size. I think she turned out adorable!! The pattern bg papers are open stock from Hobby Lobby by Paper Studio. The sentiment is from the 'Happy Days' stamp set by Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I finished up my card with a little doodling on the shamrock and some enamel dots by American Crafts-Studio Calico.
Thanks for stopping by and I sure hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Morning Crafty Friends!! Are ya'll ready for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Diana is our hostess for this week. She has challenged us and ya'll to use a Cricut 'Clock' on our project. I've just started good using the print feature on my Cricut Explore and am loving it. It makes using the Disney cartridges so much easier. I used Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland on my card. You can find him on the Disney Classics cartridge. It printed and cut wonderfully!! The bg designer paper was printed from the Silhouette Store. It is called Retro New Years. It is design #72337. I thought it was perfect for Mr. Rabbit. The sentiments are from 'Build A Birthday' stamp set from My Craft Spot. I finished my card with some enamel dots from Bo Bunny Lemonade Stand.
I sure hope you plan on heading over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and checking out the creations that my DT Sister's have made. I'm tellin' ya, they are awesomeness for sure!!!!  While you are there, look at the rules for our challenges in the sidebar and then head to your crafty space and create a project using a Cricut 'Clock' on it. The Lord Is....

Morning Crafty Friends!! Today starts a new Linky Party at PDE Linky Parties. This week we are to make any project that isn't a card. Now, ya'll know I just love making cards, but was ready for this challenge. I have discovered a new love for using vinyl. I love to cut it using either my Silhouette Cameo or my Cricut Explore. For this project I used my Silhouette Cameo. I did some glass cutting boards at Christmas and loved how they turned out, so I decided to make one of those. I cut the title using the Ancient Script font. Love how it looks. The shepherd and sheep are from the Silhouette online store. It is called Full Nativity and is by Lori Whitlock. It is file #70556. I just pulled the shepherd and sheep from the file, cutting the sheep twice. Everything was done on mirror image. I'm really pleased how it turned out.
Head on over to PDE Linky Parties and check out what my DT Sister's have made. Awesomeness for sure!!! Then head to your crafty space and create a project that isn't a card and link up with us!!
Hope ya'll like my cutting board!!!! :)

Fishing you....

Morning my crafty friends!! It sure is cold here in north/central Alabama!!! And I don't like it one bit!! I know others get colder than we do, but we aren't use to this. I hope everyone stays warm and safe!!
Today starts a new challenge over at Bitten By The Bug 2 and our wonderfully talented DT Sister Caroline is our hostess this week. She has challenged us and you, too, to make a Shape Card. There are several cartridges that have shaped cards on them. I decided to go with one from the Wild Card 2 cartridge. I thought this fish one was cute and I think hubby will like it. It was really simple and easy to make. I added some clear Wink of Stella to the eye and top fin. The sentiment is on the inside. It is from the 'Amusing Animals' stamp set from Scrappy Moms.
Please head over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the shaped cards my DT Sister's have made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are there check out the rules for our challenges in the sidebar. Then head to your crafty space and create a shape card using a Cricut cartridge.
Also, we have 3 new DT Sister's. Make sure you meet them while visiting.
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Love

Morning Crafty Friends!! I'm tellin' ya. This Alabama weather just can't make up it's mind what so ever. Cold as could be the first part of last week and then over the weekend-Spring weather!!! Loved it, but I'm wanting Winter to come and go quickly, not tease us with this Spring weather every other week!!!
But I know you aren't here to hear about Alabama weather. I bet you are here 'cus today is the start of a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 and you want to see what I created for it, yeah? Our wonderfully talented DS Sister Brenda is hosting this week. She asked us and is asking you to use a Cricut 'Charm' on your project. These are on quite a few of the cartridges. I've never used one before, so I wasn't sure I was even going to do this challenge. Then I decided to just go for it. I used my Cricut Explore to cut this silhouette charm from the Disney Princesses-Happily Ever After cartridge. The I got to hunting for the word 'Love.' I found this one in the Silhouette Online Store (#30004), so I cut it with my Silhouette. I did some doodling around the heart in the 'Love.' I also used what I thought was my Clear Wink of Stella Brush on it and turned out to be the White one. I decided that I like the effect and did the one on the inside the same. The bling in the corners and heart on the inside are from Recollections. The pattern paper is from the Recollections-Love 6x6 pad. I haven't added a sentiment to it yet, but will when I decide who I will give it to.
I hope you plan on going over to Bitten By The Bug 2  and checking out the projects that my DT Sisters have made. I'm tellin' ya, they are awesomeness for sure!!!! While you are there, check the sidebar for the rules to our challenges then head to your crafty spot and create a project using a Cricut 'Charm' on it. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Valentine's

Today I have the pleasure of showcasing my creations on Cardz TV Gallery. I sure hope you have been checking it out each weekday. If not, then you are sure missing some awesomeness for sure!!!!
For my first card I used my Cricut Explore. I have a sweet little friend that I like to send cards to and I think she will really like this one of Abby Cadabby. She can be found on the Sesame Street Elmo & Friends Cartridge. I did the print and cut. I think I'm gonna love using the print and cut a whole lot!!! I cut her twice and stacked her with foam tape between the layers. I used some Enamel Dots from Dear Lizzy in the corner and the bg pattern paper is from the Recollections-Love 6x6 pad. The sentiment is on the inside and it is from the 'Happy Days' stamp set. You can find Mary's stamps by going over to Cardz TV Stamps.

For my second card, I used my Silhouette Cameo. I also did the print and cut. I found these darling cuts in the online Silhouette Store. Both are by Stinkin Cute Paper Piecings. The title is file #74186 and the lion couple is #74190. Yep, I love the print and cut feature on the Silhouette, too!!! The bg pattern paper is also from the Recollections-Love 6x6 pad. I used some Enamel Dots from Jubilee on this card. The sentiment on the inside is from the 'Ticket Talk' stamp set. Head over to Cardz TV Stamps to check out all of Mary's stamps!

Little Angel

Good Monday morning everyone!! Hope your weekend was wonderful and your favorite team won the Super Bowl. I didn't watch because we were at church, but I heard it was a pretty good game.
Here we are starting another week with rain and cold here in my little hometown. Just matches how most feel about Mondays!! :)
It's also the day for our new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderful leader Susan is our hostess this week. Since she has a beautiful new grandbaby (check her blog to see the awesome photos), she challenged us to make a Baby project. Since my BFF is about to be a new grandmother to a baby girl, I made a card for the baby gifts I bought. The onesie is from the Baby Steps cartridge. This is my first print and cut with my Explore and I'm so loving this feature!!!! In fact, I had to cut out some other stuff while I was having fun learning how it all worked. I will be making projects with those print and cuts soon. The card itself is from the new cartridge Elegant Embellishments. Well, it's new to me. Haven't had it long. I so love how it turned out and the Explore sure cut it beautifully! I added some faux half pink pearls in the corners and on the inside. The sentiment on the front is from the 'Oh Baby' stamp set and the one on the inside is from the 'Girl Talk' stamp set. Both of these sets can be found at Cardz TV Stamps. Mary has stamps for every occasion.
Head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the wonderful projects that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are there, look in the sidebar for the rules for our challenges. Then head to your crafty space and create a Baby Project using a Cricut cut and link it up so we can come by and admire it. So looking forward to seeing your Baby Project!
Hope ya'll like my Baby Card!!!! :)
