Birthday

Janis is trying something new for our Linky Parties over at Pause Dream Enjoy Linky Party. We will be doing weekly parties now. And our Linky Party for this week is 'Shaped Card'.
I needed a card for my Dad's birthday so I went to hunting in the Silhouette Store for a card. Found this cute shaped card with a fire hydrant on it. Love the sentiment that came with it. My Dad liked it, too. He wanted to know if it was three alarm because he's so hot, I told him it was because of all the candles on his cake!!! Gotta love my Dad!!! This is a Snapdragon Snippets file and is #62062. The sentiment on the inside is a wooden stamp from my stash.
Head over to PDE Linky Party and check out the projects that my DT Sisters have made. Awesomeness for sure!!! Then head to your crafty space and create a shape card to link up by October 6th. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!!
Hope ya'll like my shape card!!!! :)

I'm Nutty for you!

Good Monday morning everyone!!! Glad you stopped by. Bitten By The Bug 2 has started a new challenge today. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Michelle is our hostess this week. She has challenged us to make a project using a Cricut cut of a Squirrel and/or Nuts. So perfect for this Fall season!! I just had to use the squirrel and acorn from the Create-a-Critter cartridge. You will find them on page 32. I cut the squirrel at 3 inches and the acorns at 1 inche. The acorn on the inside I cut at 1 1/2 inches. I can't remember where I got this DP, but I just love it! The wooden buttons I got at Hobby Lobby. And the sentiment is from the "Critter Captions" stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
Head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the creations that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!! While you are there, check the side bar for the rules for our challenges. The frost is on.......

Morning everyone!!! Are you ready for the week 2 projects from DT B for PDE Linky Party? I decided to pull out my little sewing machine for my card. Now, I have to forewarn you that I'm still trying to get the hang of sewing a straight line on this thing. Sooooo, my stitching is anything but straight!!! :) I cut this Pumpkin from Miss Kate Cuttables using my Silhouette Cameo. It is file # 64989 in the Silhouette Store or you can find it at  Miss Kate Cuttables. I popped up the pumpkin on one thickness of foam tape. The pattern papers are from the DCWV 8 1/2x11 Fall & Halloween Basics Stack. I am loving this stack. It's great for making Fall cards. The sentiments, front and inside and the pumpkin stamped on the inside are from the 'Fall Fun' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
Head on over to PDE Linky Party and check out the projects that my DT Sisters make. Awesomeness for sure!!! Then head to your crafty space and create a project with some real or faux stitching on it and linky it by Sept. 29th. Looking forward to seeing what you make!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Thinkin of you.....

She has challenged us all to use a Cricut Butterfly on our project. I went with this darling butterfly cut from the Create-a-Critter 2 cartridge. You can fin it on page 41. I cut it at 3 inches. The pattern paper is from Lawn Fawn-Hello Sunshine 6x6 pad. Love the stripes. The bg pattern paper is from Recollections-Simply Pastel 6x6 pad. The sentiment is from the 'Simple Sentiments' stamp set from My Craft Spot. I finished off my card with some Enamel Dots from Recollections.

Fall is in the Air

Have you heard that Diane over at Exploring Cricut and More is having a challenge this week and every day there is a project up for some inspiration? The challenge is 'Fall is in the Air'. She wants you to make a project (using any cutting machine), that represents Fall.
Diane has some wonderful projects to show you each day and yesterday, our friend Annette showcased for the day. I'm tellin' ya, awesomeness for sure!!!!!
I am honored to have been asked to present Friday's Daily Project.
I decided to make three projects.  The first one is a Pumpkin 3d Box Taper Top, It is by Snapdragon Snippets and is file #66244 in the Silhouette Store. I really love how it turned out. The pattern papers are from the DCWV 8 1/2x11 Fall  Halloween Basics Stack. The second one is a Fall Leaves Box Card. It is from SVG Cuts. It is from their latest release-Autumn Box Cards. Love this set. The pattern papers here are also from the same DCWV Stack. And the last project that I made is this cute little 3d Pumpkin by Lori Whitlock. It is file # 66556 in the Silhouette Store. I so love using my Silhouette Cameo and all of the SVG files that I find online. Don't forget to come back tomorrow and check out another great project and don't forget to enter Diane's Fall challenge. You have until 10pm EST, tomorrow night to link your project. And Diane has a great prize for one lucky person!!!
Hope ya'll like my projects.

The back of the box card. The sentiment is from the 'Fall Fun' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps

I tied some Trendy Twine in Holly Green around the stem of the pumpkin.

Happy Birthday Train

Morning, morning, morning!!! Hope all is well with ya. Today is the start of Bitten By The Bug 2's weekly challenge. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Mayra has chosen for us to make a project using any Cricut Die Cut. Now how easy peasy is that?! I had a hard time trying to decide which die cut I was going to use!!! :) I finally settled on this adorable train from the Create-a-Critter cartridge. It can be found on page 57 and I cut it at 3 inches. It turned out a little bigger than I thought it was going to so I went with making a 6x6 card instead of the A2 that I was aiming for. The cute bg paper is from Echo Park-Scoot 6x6 pad. The sentiment is from a wooden stamp from my stash. I added some red gemstones to finish up my card. Head on over to Bitten by the Bug 2 and check out the projects that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!!!! While there, check the sidebar for the rules for our challenges. Then head to your crafty space and create a project using 'Any' Cricut cut!! Can't wait to see what you make!!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)
