Have A Great Day!

Morning Crafty Friends!! Are you ready to see what the mid-challenge DT has for you over at Pause Dream Enjoy Linky Parties? Our Linky Party is Many Layers. Create a project that has many layers. I used to mat layers and my cuts on the front. Those rain boots are from the Silhouette Store. They are by Sarah Bailey and are file #15913. I don't have a pair of rain boots, but I wouldn't mind having a pair like these.
The dp is from Bo Bunny-Lemonade Stand 6x6 pad. Love the sunny look of it. I finished off the front with these Enamel Dots from My Mind's Eye-Market Street. The sentiment is from the 'Simply Said' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
Hope you plan on joining our Linky Party. You have another week to create a project with 'Many Layers' and link it up. Can't wait to see what you make!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Happy Fourth of July

Morning everyone!! It is time for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 and our wonderful DT Sister Michelle has challenged us to make a 'Fourth of July' project this week. I don't usually send out 4th cards, so I had to think about this one. I pulled out my Elmo & Friends Holiday cartridge and found this cute cut of Cookie Monster with his Uncle Sam hat on. I cut it out at 3 inches the first time. Way to small!! So I recut it at 4 1/2 inches. Just perfect for my card and I put an action wobble behind it!! The bg paper is from the Doodlebug Design-Patriotic Parade 6x6 paper pad. You can purchase your own from the Royal Castle Shoppe. The sentiment is from the 'Happy Days' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I finished off my card by adding some Pebbles Candy Dots.
Hope you are planning on heading over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the 'Fourth of July' projects that my DT Sister's have made. Awesomeness for sure!!!! While you are there see the rules for our challenges in the sidebar. Then head to your crafty space and make a 'Fourth of July' project and link it so we can come by and have a look see. So looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Vacation

Morning, morning, morning!!! Hope you had a great weekend and are now ready for a new challenge at Exploring Cricut and More. Diane has challenge us to make a 'Vacation' project and use a sign of some kind (stop, beach, gas, etc) on it. I was going to make a layout page, but decided to make a 6x6 card instead. I had won a gift certificate from Peachy Keen Stamps and one of the sets that I bought was the June 2013 'Fun in the Sun' PKSC-18. I just love all of the beach, fish and face stamps in this set. I used my Silhouette Cameo and the SVG file and cut the shapes and then stamped them and colored them with my Copics. The sign is from the Silhouette Store. It is by Sarah Bailey and is file #61543. I ran the post through the Big Shot using the Cuttlebug Distressed Stripes embossing folder. All of the sentiments on the front and the one on the inside are from the 'Fun in the Sun' and 'A Day at the Beach' stamp sets from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
Head on over to Exploring Cricut and More and check out the projects that my DT Sisters made. Awesomeness for sure!!!! While you are there read the rules for our challenges and then head to your crafty space and make a 'Vacation' project with a sign on it!! So looking forward to seeing what you come up with!! You have until 10pm, EST July 5th to link it.

Summer Fun

Morning Folks!! Hope you are ready for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Melanie is hosting our challenge this week. She has challenged us to make a 'Summer Fun' project.
Part of the grandkids are going to the beach in a few weeks, so I thought I would make a layout page for them to put a picture of them on the beach on. I am loving using this paper this year. I've used it on a card already, now this layout bg and you will see part of it again soon. It's perfect for the summer/swim projects. For my cuts I used the Sesame Street Seasons cartridge. The title is on page 38 as is the palm tree. They were both cut at 5 inches. The sun is on page 39 and was cut at 3 1/4 inches. The beach ball can be found on page 44 and it was cut at 2 inches. I put the sun and beach ball on an action wobble. The bg paper is open stock from Hobby Lobby and the action wobbles can be bought at The Royal Castle Shoppe.
Head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out what my DT Sisters have made. Awesomeness for sure!! While you are there, look at the rules for our challenges in the side bar. Then head to your crafty space and create a 'Summer Fun' project and link up so we can come by and admire it. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!
Hope ya'll like my layout page!!!! :)

Friends-Flowers

Morning all!!! Hope this fine Saturday morning finds you all well. Do you have big plans for this weekend? Stay safe and have fun!!
I have the honor of showcasing the Daily Project at Exploring Cricut and More. When the Silhouette Store put some shaker embellishments in their store, I bought a few of them and then went back and bought them all. One of them is this cute flower. This is by Lori Whitlock and is file #59922. I love how it turned out. I did cut two extra of the layers that goes under the flower to hold the shaker pieces to make it deep enough for the bee. I glue dotted it down and then added the Lawn Fawn mixed sequins that I purchased from the Theresa-Scrapbooking Queens Royal Castle Shoppe. I also added some to the middles of some of the flowers on the bg dp. That paper came from the EP-Summer Bliss by Lori Whitlock 6x6 paper pad. The sentiments are from the 'Think Spring' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I think I'm gonna love making shaker things!!! Well that is it for me today.
Have you been checking out the daily projects each day? If not, you sure are missing some awesomeness!!!
Also, if you haven't joining our current challenge-Father's Day Project-you still have time. Just create and link up by 10pm, EST tonight.
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

You know, use paint, modge podge, ink, embossing, etc. on it. I decided to go with dry embossing and glossy accents. I just go the Create-a-Friend cartridge. Been wanting it and finally caught it on sale. So I just had to try it out. I cut this adorable little swimmer and the pool. They can be found on page 49 and 50. I cut them at 3 inches.
