Happy Birthday Hubby!!

Today is my hubby's birthday. I'll not tell you how old he is, 'cus you would know almost how old I am!! :) I'll just say that we aren't spring chickens.
I wanted to show ya'll the box card I made for him.
The box card base is from SVG Cuts. When they did the files for the box cards, they also included files with just the base box card for each design. I used one of those for my base. Hubby has always liked to fish, so I decided that was the direction I wanted to go. I had bought this adorable 'Catch of the Day' from somewhere, and now I can't remember where. I thought I got it from the Silhouette Store, but I couldn't find it on there, so I'm not for sure. I didn't cut the face features for the little guy nor for the moon, so I could use some Peachy Keen Stamps. For the little guy I used the Wide Eyed Kids set and for the moon, I used the Happy Lashes set. I really think Hubby is going to love his card!!
Thank you so very much for stopping by and visiting. Hope ya'll have an awesomely, wonderful and crafty day!!
Hope ya'll like my latest box card!!!!! I am so loving making these things!!!!!! :)

Car!

Good Monday Morning!! Hope ya'll are enjoying your long Holiday weekend. I'm at work, but that's okay. We got together with some family yesterday and had a great time.
Are ya'll ready for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2? Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Susan has challenged us to use a Cricut Car cut on our project this week. I wasn't even sure I was going to get to play this week, but managed to get something thrown together between church and going to the cookout. And I cheated a little bit. I'm letting the bg dp do my talking for me. It is Ki Memories Little Guy stack. I've almost used all of the papers from it. They are just perfect for little boys cards. The car is from the Beep Beep Cartridge. I cut it out at 2 inches. You can find it at the #39 spot on the overlay. I used glossy accents on the eyes, nose, mouth and hubcaps. I finished it by adding a couple of Doodlebug Design-Birthday Girl Sprinkles. I got these from The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Castle Shoppe. Love the color. It goes just perfect with my little car. Now, I haven't put a sentiment in it yet. I will when I decide how I am going to use my card. I did add 2 of the Sprinkles on the inside.
Hope you head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the great car projects that my DT Sisters have made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are there, check out the rules for our challenges in the sidebar. Then head to your crafty space and create a car project of your own and link it so we can come by and admire it.
Hope ya'll like my car card!!!! :)

Summer-Exploring Cricut and More Saturday Daily Project

Good Saturday morning ya'll!!! Hope you have some crafty plans for this weekend. Today I am presenting the daily project at Exploring Cricut and More. I decided to keep with our challenge theme and do another 'Summer' project. They added some more box cards by Lori Whitlock to the Silhouette Store and of course I had to buy all of them. I'm so loving these cards!!! If you are a regular visitor here at my blog, you might have noticed that. This one is called Summertime and is file #59706. All of the cardstocks and papers are from my stash. I seem to be eyeing all papers with the thought of if they would look good on a box card now a-days!!! I found these and thought yep, they would work for summer. I love the sun and the little butterfly. I cut an extra cloud and added it to be back and two extra butterflies and added them to each side. I haven't put a sentiment other than 'Summer' on the banner. I will when I decided how I am going to use this one. The 'Summer' stamp is from the 'Fun in the Sun' set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
That is it for me today. I sure hope ya'll have a wonderful weekend.
Now, if you haven't entered our challenge this week, you still have until 10pm, EST, tonight to enter a 'Summer' project. Also, I sure hope you have been checking out the daily projects. If not, then you have missed some awesomeness for sure!!!
Hope ya'll like my lastest box card!!!! :)

Gift Bag

Hello, hello!!! Hope this finds you all well! Are you ready for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2? Our wonderfully talented DT Sister Jayne has issued the challenge of Gift Packaging-Bag, box, tag, etc. I thought really hard about making a tag, but couldn't decide what I wanted to put on it. I finally decided to make a little bag. This is from the Bags, Tags, Boxes and More cartridge. It is the shopping bag on page 114. I cut the box out at fit-to-page which made it 5 3/4 inches. I then measured the sides and ends and cut this blue gingham paper to cover it with. Then to decided what I wanted to add to the bag. I have never made a shaker card or anything like that before. When these shaker embellishments appeared in the Silhouette Store, I bought them and then decided to try my hand at it. Made this baby rattle just to see how it worked. It was just lying on my desk beckoning me to use it. So I thought, okay, a baby gift bag it would be!! I punched the tag from a the Tiny Tags Metal Die and the sentiment is from the Tiny Tags Stamp Set. Both of these can be found at My Craft Spot. I made a bow from some crinkle ribbon and glue dotted it to the front. then I made a tiny little bow with some 'Denim' twine from The Twinery. Attached it to the top of the tag with a tiny glue dot and then glue dotted the tag under the bow.
Why don't you head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the creations that my DT Sisters made. Awesomeness for sure!!! And while you are there, check the rules in the sidebar for our challenges and then head to your crafty space and create your own Bag, box, tag, etc. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!
Hope ya'll like my little bag!!! :)

Here Comes Summer

Hope ya'll had a wonderful weekend and are now ready for a new challenge at Exploring Cricut and More. Diane has challenged us to make a card, layout or papercraft celebrating summer and must include the colors red and blue. I decided that I would make a picnic basket. When I was growing up we had picnics a lot. My Mom had a great basket like this. Hers wasn't red and blue though. It was brown. I went digging for the perfect paper to display my basket on. Found this in an older stack from Momenta called Summer Fun. Love the little ants on the picnic table cloth. I cut my basket and the ants using my Silhouette Cameo. I found this file at the Silhouette Store. It is file #44706. I decided to have the ants trying to make off with the goodies!!! The sentiment on the front is from the 'Fun in the Sun' stamp set and the one on the inside is from the 'This 'N' That' stamp set. Both of these can be found at Mary-Cardz TV Stamps.
Head on over to Exploring Cricut and More and check out the 'Summer' projects that my DT Sisters have made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While there, check out the rules for our challenges. Then head to your crafty space and create a project and link it by 10pm, EST, Saturday, May 10th. Can't wait to see your 'Summer' projects!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Bugs!!!

Today we start a new Linky Party at Pause Dream Enjoy. Janis wanted us to create with 'Bugs'! Since I consider insects-bugs, I chose to use a Caterpillar, Ants and a Dragonfly. I found all of these in the Silhouette Store. The Caterpillar is file #43035, the Cute Ants are file #55282 and the Dragonfly is file #42821. And this DP that I used, I just happened to find in my stash. Not sure where it is from. I thought it was a perfect bg for my layout page. The big yellow place is the photo mat. I'll just journal right on the bg.
Hope you plan on heading over to Pause Dream Enjoy and checking out the projects that my DT Sister's made. I can tell you that they are awesomeness for sure!!! I Love You Mom

Hey! Are you ready for a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2? Our wonderfully talented Emily has asked us to make a Mother's Day project. I always, for some reason that I can't fathom, have a hard time making Mother's Day cards. I always seem to draw a blank. So I got on my Gypsy Girl and did a search for Mother. I came across this phrase on the Florals Embellished cartridge. Now I haven't used this one in forever and a day!!! And lo and behold, on the same page was this flower. Okay, here ya go Sharon!! All right there together! You can find all of it on page 27. I cut the phrase at 1.75 inches and the flower at 3.25 inches. I did a little doodling and added some faux half pink pearls. And the sentiment on the inside if from a wood stamps from Paper Inspirations.
I just realized that the pink really blends into the orange. What a time for me to notice that!!
Head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the projects that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!!! And while you are there, check the rules for our challenges in the sidebar. And then head to your crafty space and make a Mother's Day project!! And link it by Sunday, May 11th. Mother's Day!!!! Can't wait to see what you create!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

I did not cut the 'For You' because I wanted to use this as a Mother's Day card. The sentiments, both on the front and on the inside are from the 'Mother's Day' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I am so loving my Cameo!

Castle Box Card

Evening Everyone!! Are ya'll surprised to see me posting this time of the night? I had to work this morning and when I got home I headed to my crafty room. I just had to make this great Castle Box Card from SVG Cuts. Mary and Leo have just released four box cards. I love them all. I made two of them as soon as I bought the files Wednesday. They will be on my blog at the end of next week, so come back by and have a look at them. This one I didn't do for a challenge or anything. I just had to make it. All of the papers were pulled out of my stash. I did do one thing wrong. I put everything on the wrong side so I had to reverse the clouds. But other than that, I did it right. And I really don't think it hurt the cutest one bit!!! The stamps are from the 'All Girl' stamp set from Pink By Design. I added some white half faux pearls on the doors. And embossed the tower top above the door. Thank you for stopping by to see me. I sure hope ya'll like my box card!!!! :)
