Little Blessing

Morning all!! Today starts a new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2. Our wonderfully talented Jaren has picked our challenge this week. She has chosen for us to create a project or layout with a 'Baby' theme. I just so happened to need a card for one of the girls at work. She is having a girl. I got on my Gypsy Girl and decided that I wanted a baby bottle shaped card. The Simply Charmed cartridge had the bottle that I wanted. I took the shadow and welded two together to get my shape. Then I cut the bottle and layers our. Everything was done at 5.5 inches. The sentiment is from the 'Oh Baby' stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I finished off my card with a pink flourish bling.
Head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the great creations that my DT Sisters made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are there, check the rules to our challenges in the sidebar. Then why don't you head on to your crafty space and create a project to link up by Sunday, February 2nd. We love to see what you come up with.
I hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Happy Birthday Son

Morning Folks!! Hope you had a great weekend. Are you ready for a new challenge at Exploring Cricut? Diane has issured the challenge of Cricut Choice. But wait! There is a catch. You have to use two Cricut cuts , the color blue and at least one pattern paper on your project. I decided to make a birthday card. I cut the 'happy birthday' from the Create-a-Critter cartridge at 2 inches. The 'Son' is cut from the New Testament cartridge at 1.25 inches. I thought the star pattern paper would be great for a male card.
Please head over to  Exploring Cricut and check out the creations that my DT Sisters made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are there check out the rules for our challenges in the sidebar. Then head to your crafty space and make a project following our theme. Can't wait to see what you come up with! Don't forget to link your creation by 10pm., EST on Saturday Feb. 1st.
Diane has posted a survey on Exploring Cricut that we would love for you to take. You can find it here. Please take a moment and take this survey, please. You will have until Saturday when our challenge ends. Thank you!!!
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Precious Little Baby

One of the girls at church is having a little boy really soon. Her baby shower is this Saturday. I made this card to go with the diapers and wipes that my Mom, Daugher and I are getting her. It is file #24919 at the Silhouette Store. I didn't use the laundry line. And I added these little bitty ducks that I had left over from another project. I don't remember what they were cut from. The sentiment is from the 'Tiny Tag' stamp set from My Craft Spot. A CAS card.
Hope ya'll like my card!!!

Hello Friend!

Good Tuesday morning!! Hope you week has started off good. We are starting a new linky party at Pause Dream Enjoy Crafty Playtime. Janis wants us to make a Friendship Card. I had this cutting file from the Silhouette Store that I really love. It is file # 53541. I decided that it would make the perfect Friendship card. The bg dp is Heidi Grace-Sunshowers 6x6 pad that my good friend Deanna sent me. Fabulous paper pad. Beautiful papers. I love it! Thank you Deanna!!!! I filled in the holes in the feeder with a Wink of Stella Brush in Clear. Learned about these from Mary at Cardz TV. Love these. The sentiments, the one of the front and the one inside are from the 'Good Friends' stamp set from Mary. I popped the feeder on one thickness of foam tape.
How about heading on over to Pause Dream Enjoy and join our Crafty Playtime Linky Party!! We would love to see your friendship cards!!!
Well, that's it for me today. Hope ya'll like my 'Friendship Card'!!!! :)

Get Well

Morning, morning, morning!!! Hope you had a great weekend. I sure did!! I had a rare whole weekend off!!! I haven't had a Saturday off in quite some time and had to ask for that one. I had planned to craft all day, but got started cleaning and didn't get into my crafty room until late afternoon. But I did craft!!
Are you ready for the newest challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2? Our wonderfully talented Emily is our hostess this week and she has asked us to make a 'Get Well Card'.
I decided to go with the Cricut Alphabet cartridge for my card. Haven't used it in some time. I cut the phrase at 1.25 inches and the shape at 3 inches. I decided to do everything in pink. I think I really like this card. Now, in the picture the ribbon/bow looks orange. I kept taking pictures trying to show the real color of it, which is a deep pink, but no matter how I turned it, etc, it kept coming out orange in the pictures. My guess is that there is a orange tint to the pink that I can't see but the camera is picking it up. So, just imagine it with a deep pink ribbon/bow and there you have my card!!
Would love for you to head on over to Bitten By The Bug 2 and check out the 'Get Well Cards' that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are there check the sidebar for the rules for our challenges. Then head to your crafty space and create a new 'Get Well Card', using a Cricut cut from any cartridge on it and link it up by Sunday, January 26th. Looking forward to seeing what you create.
Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Luv U

Good Morning!! Do you have big plans for this weekend? I sure do! I'm off!! Yeah!! And I plan on spending today in my crafty room. But first I wanted to show ya'll what I made for my Daily Project at Exploring Cricut. I bought these great little clear boxes from Jaded Blossom and decided to decorate one. I used this darling little flying heart from the Create-a-Critter cartridge and then cut the heart without the face features. The sentiments are hand written. I popped all of the hearts on one thickness of foam tape and filled by box with some yummy Reeses Peanut Butter Cups. I'm sure one of the grands is gonna just love getting this!
Have you been checking out the daily projects that my DT Sisters have been show casing each day? If not then you have been missing some awesomeness for sure!!
Also, have you entered our current challenge? You have time if you haven't. Just make a new project, using any Cricut cartridge and color with the theme of 'Winter Wonderland'. You have until 10pm, EST, tonight to link up your project.
Hope ya'll like my project!!!! :)

WOW 12

Good Monday morning my Crafty Friends!! Hope your weekend was great. Are you ready for a new challenge at BBTB2? Our wonderfully talented Caroline is our hosted this week and she has challenged us to make a Birthday Card with a number on it.
We have a granddaughter turning 12 at the end of the month so I made this card for her. It is super CAS since all the grands really care about is the money we always put inside their birthday cards and really not concerned about the card itself. I used George & Basic Shapes for the 'WOW' and '12'. The numbers were cut at 3 inches and the letters at 1 inch. Like I said, CAS.
Hope you will go by and take a look-see at what my DT Sisters created. All I can say is, Awesomeness for sure!!! While you are over at BBTB2 take a look at the sidebar and read the rules to our challenges and then head to your crafty space and create a new birthday card with a number on it and link it by Sunday, January 19th. I'm so looking forward to seeing your birthday cards!!
I hope ya'll like mine!!!! :)

Winter Wonderland

Morning Crafty Friends!!! Hope you are ready for a new challenge at Exploring Cricut. Diane challenged us to make a 'Winter Wonderland'. You can use any colors and any Cricut cartridge.
I went with the Doodle Charms cartridge for my card. The snow man was cut at 2.5 inches and the sun at 1 inch. Using my Gypsy Girl I hid his face and stamped it with a Peachy Keen I punched out the clouds with a Fiskers punch. The snow at the bottom is just a torn piece of white paper. I sprayed the card with Frost Shimmer Spritz to give it some shimmer. I haven't added a sentiment to this one yet, as I don't know for sure what I will be using it for.
Head on over to Exploring Cricut and check out the creations that my DT Sister's made. Awesomeness for sure!!!! Then head on to your crafty space and create a new project with the 'Winter Wonderland' theme. You will have until Saturday, January 18 at 10pm EST to link your creation.
I hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Crafty Playtime Linky Party

Morning everyone and welcome to our very first Crafty Playtime Linky Party.  We use to be Paper Playtime, but Janis has combined both of her challenge blogs and came up with Crafty Playtime Linky Party. We will post every other week on Tuesdays. We sure hope you plan on joining us for our Linky Party. The rules for our linky party is at the end of my post.
Our theme is 'Balloons'.
I needed a card for our SIL for his birthday. I always have a tough time making cards for me, but decided surely I could come up with something good using balloons. Our SIL is an Auburn fan, hence the orange and blue. My cuts are a cutting file from the Silhouette Store. It is cut file #47583.
Hope ya'll like my card. :)

National Hobby Month

Are you ready for the first challenge of 2014 for Bitten By The Bug 2? We are all so happy to be back to our challenges and so look forward to seeing what all you create this year! Our most awesome DT Sister Brenda is our hostess this week. It is an open challenge dedicated to your hobby. Don't forget to use a Cricut cut on your project. Check out the rest of the rules for our challenges on the sidebar at Bitten By The Bug 2.
I decided to make a layout page for my project this week. This shows how I think my hubby feels about my wonderful hobby. He doesn't say anything, but sometimes I get the message from the look on his face. But he is a great support of my 'keep me sane' hobby!
The phrase is from the Cricut Everyday cartridge. I cut it at 4.25 inches. The $ signs are from the ZooBalloo cartridge. I cut those at 2 inches. And the money is from the Cuttin' Up cartridge. I cut those at 1.5 inches. The red piece is where I plan on putting a photo from my crafty room. That is, when I get it cleaned up. It is pretty messy right now.
I hope you plan on joining our challenge this week. We so love seeing what you come up with. You have until Sunday, January 12th to link.
Hope ya'll like my layout!!!! :) And Happy National Hobby Month!!!!

Thank You

Good morning! Hope you have big plans for this weekend. I'm working, but hope to get into my crafty room this afternoon. At least for a couple of hours. It is my day to present the Daily Project at Exploring Cricut. I needed a Thank You card. I used the 'Cricut Alphabet cartridge to cut the 'Thank You'. I cut it and its shadow at 1.75 inches. I added some white pearl flourish from Hobby Lobby and finished it off with these great Rhinestone Stickers from Michaels that my wonderful friend Deanna sent me. She also sent the blue papers that I used. I so love different shades of blue.
Have you been keeping up with all of the daily projects? Now if you haven't, you are missing out on some awesomeness for sure!!! Also, have you entered our current challenge? Make a new project using any Cricut cartridge cut celebrating the New Year. You still have time, you know. The link doesn't close until 10pm, EST tonight.
That's it for me today. Hope ya'll like my card!!!! Have an awesomely crafty weekend!!!! :)
