Halloween Witch

Once again I thought I had made my last Halloween project and once again it is the new challenge at Bitten By The Bug 2 that has proven me wrong!! Their challenge for this week is to make a project using a witch cut from any Cricut cartridge. Now, I don't normally cut the witches, so I went in hunt of a fun one. I found this one on the  new Create-a-Critter 2 cartridge. I just love this little turtle. It can be found on page 56. The broom is there, too. I cut the turtle at 4.5 inches and the broom at 4 inches. I used some glossy accents on the cheeks and the band on the hat. I brushed some cocoa ink on the broom to make it look dirty. The bg designer paper is from the Spooksville paper pad from Hobby Lobby. The sentiments, inside and out are from the Oct 31st stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. Such a fun set! That's it. My very last Halloween card for 2012!!! Hahaha Hope ya'll like it! :)
This is the best picture I could get of the inside. I don't know what's going on with the lighting in my crafty room!

Paper Playtime-#87-Anything Goes

We have an extra Monday this month so that means we get to have an 'Anything Goes' challenge over at Paper Playtime!!!! Our sponsor for this challenge is The Robin's Nest with a $15 gift certificate. There are so many wonderful things to choose from!! But you have to link a project to be in the running for this great prize!! You have until noon, EST, Friday, Nov. 2nd to enter. For my card I used my neglected Noah's ABC Animals cartridge. I cut the ark from page 71 at 3 inches. The rainbow from page 84 at 1.5 inches and the clouds from page 88 at 1 inch. I did some faux stitching on the ark. The hill I cut by hand. The Bible verse I did on the computer. I added some Cherry Choc. Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest to the end of the sentiment piece and the corner of the front. The sentiment on the inside is from the Encouraging Thoughts stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. Head over to Paper Playtime and check out what my DT sisters have created. Awesomeness for sure!!! And then head to your crafty space and create something to enter. Please make sure it is a new project and no back links!! Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!! Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Thanksgiving-The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Digi Challenge

Well can ya'll believe that another month has passed and it is time for a new challenge over at The Scrapbooking Queen's Royal Digi Challenge!! Our theme for this month is Thanksgiving. We would so love to see what digi creation you make for Thanksgiving. There are so many awesome digis from harvest to turkeys to scarecrows, etc that you can choose from. For this months challenge I made a 6x6 card using a digi from Pink Cat Studio called 'Turkey Family'. I so love it!!! I used my Copics to color it up. I even printed out an extra one so I could cut out the signs and pop them up. Don't you just love those great big eyes!! I bet they are scared they will end up on someones Thanksgiving table!! I used a Spellbinders Grand Labels Four to cut it out and then popped it up on my card with one thickness of foam tape. The bg designer cardstock is from Imaginisce-So Grateful. I picked it up at Michaels when I was on vacation at my awesome friend Janis' house. We don't have a Michaels here in my little town. :(
Keep checking back as I have some more digis that I will be coloring up and making into cards from some of our other awesome sponsors. I just didn't have time to get them done for today.
It is now your turn. I'm so looking forward to seeing what you create. Remember, digi, Thanksgiving, new project (no back links please), as many entries as you want as long as each one is a new project, have fun and you have until November 24th!!! Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

WOW! I can't believe it is the last Saturday of October!! And to make it even better, I have the honor of presenting the Daily Project for Exploring Cricut. Did you enter our challenge? You have time if you didn't. The cutoff is 9pm, EST tonight. Keeping with our challenge theme, I made another Halloween card. For this one I used the Bump In The Night cartridge. Another one of my simple and quick cards. I cut the ghost that can be found at the #13 spot on the overlay. But I didn't go with a white ghost. I made mine purple!!! I think he is so cute!! I cute him 3.5 inches. The bg pattern paper and the button are from studio g that I picked up at Walmart. The sentiment is from the More Spooky Sayings stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. To finish my card, I just had to use an action wobble! So fun!!!!! Now, if you haven't been checking out the daily projects that my DT sisters and brother have created, then you have sure missed some awesome projects. Head over to Exploring Cricut and check them out and while you're there, link up a Halloween project. Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Halloween Treat Container

Well here I was, thinking I had already made my last Halloween project. Then I check to see what Bitten By The Bug 2 had for their challenge this week. And you guessed it! Halloween!! Hahaha But this one is for a 3-D Halloween Treat Container. I put my thinking cap on and pulled out the Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 cartridge and started flipping pages. I came to page 34 and decided to cut the Candy Box. I cut the two pieces at 3.5 inches. I cut them first in white and then in the spider paper. I glued the spider paper to the white, scored, glued and made this cut little box. I also cut the spiders at 1.00 inch from the Smiley Cards cartridge. I cut them in black and in the orange color. I glued the one on the lid down and for the other, I glued the black down and popped up the orange. I did some doodling with my black gelly roll pen and added the red bling eyes. I then punched a 1 inch square first in black and then in the orange, glued them together and stamped my sentiment on at an angle. The sentiment is from the More Spooky Sayings stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I also added some of the red bling to the square. I added some candy to the box. This is gonna make a cute little gift for someone. Hope ya'll like my treat container!!!! :)

Let's Talk Turkey

Evening!! Hope everyone has had a good Monday. Mine was busy, busy, busy!!
I want to share my tag that I made while I was on vacation. Last Wednesday I left out and headed to South Carolina to visit my awesome friend Janis Lewis of Pause Dream Enjoy and Paper Playtime fame. We had the best time!!! And while I was there I made this tag to enter into the Wobble Wednesday Challenge. Make a tag using a wobble. Since I so love the new Create A Critter 2 cartridge I decided to cut the turkey. He can be found on page 62. I cut him at I think 3.5 inches. I used my Sukura Clear Star Gelly Roll Pen for the sparkle. The bg designer paper is some I used that Janis has. She also gave me the little tag that I stamped the sentiment on. The sentiment is from the Thankful For You stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. Thats it. Hope ya'll like my turkey tag!!!! :)

Exploring Cricut-Happy Halloween

Hello everyone!! Glad you came by. Today starts our new challenge at Exploring Cricut and our theme is Happy Halloween. We would so love for you to make a card, layout or paper project and join in on our fun! You have until 9pm, EST, Saturday, October 27th to link. I cut everything at 3.5 inches. I make a card for each of our grandchildren. Since we have nine grands and one great-grand, I try to go simple. And this card was really simple. But I think it turned out really cute. The sentiments are from the Spooky Sayings stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I stamped it, cut it down and them used some of the bg paper to back it with and then a piece of black behind that. The great bg paper is from My Mind's Eye. The button is from studio g that I picked up from Walmart.
It is now your turn to create and link up so we can come by and admire! First head over and check out what my DT sisters and brother created for inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!!! Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Fall-o-ween Fun-Cardz TV Stamps Design Team Challenge #17

It's time for a new challenge for Cardz TV Stamps Design Team. Mary asked us to create a Halloween or Fall card, layout or craft project. So I made a card for Fall. I made my card 6x6. I used the Simply Charmed cartridge and cut the boy and girl Scarecrows from page 57. I cut the boy at 3 inches and the girl at 2.75 inches. I used my Gypsy Girl and hid the face features so they wouldn't cut. I then used the Simple Simons and Simple Sallies Face Assortment stamp sets from Peachy Keen Stamps for their faces. The pumpkin behind them is from Spellbinders Nestabilities Pumpkins. I used the largest one and cut it out using my Big Kick. I used some chalk and colored the stem and the scarecrows cheeks. The sentiment on the front, on the inside and the stamped pumpkin on the inside are from Mary's-Cardz TV Stamps new stamp set 'Fall Fun'.
I cut the piece I stamped my senitment on from a Spellbinders Shapeabilities Nested Pennants. I cut one each from both of the solid color cardstocks that I used as mats on my card. Then I glued them together a little bit off. I put two thickness' of foam tape in the middle and then glued down the ends. I curled up the tips of one end. The buttons are some that I found in my stash. I used some Rustic Twine from Papertrey Ink in the holes of the buttons. The bg designer cardstock is from Sei-NutMeg.
It is now your turn to get to creating! First head over to Cardz TV and check out what my DT Sisters made for inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!!! Then get to creating a new project and link it by Thursday, October 25th. You just may be the lucky one to win one of Mary's awesome stamp sets!!! So looking forward to seeing what you create! Hope y'all like my card!!! :)

Forever Family Love

The new challenge at SK Digis is to make a shaped card. Any shape except square or rectangle. I knew exactly what shape I was using! I took my Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals and cut a card and layers.  I colored the mushroom family love digi stamp that Sonia just released. I also used the sentiment circle that comes with this digi. I bought it with my last gift certificate that I won during the blog hop. I won this one from Annette. Thank you Annette!!! I colored it using my Copics. I used E11,13,15,31 and 33, Y11 and 13, RV 04 and 06, YR 04 and 09 and Pink, Lemon and Orange Spica Glitter Markers. I added the 'S' in the center of the sentiment. That's it. I sure hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Breast Cancer Awareness

The current Bitten By The Bug 2 challenge is to make a card in honor of Breast Cancer. I'm sorry that this won't have all of the details that I usually have in my post. I'm going out of state tomorrow and I wanted to get my card made and posted. I used the bra from the Forever Young cartridge. The designer cardstock is from K & Company-Itsy Bitsy Baby Girl Pad. The sentiments are from the Fashionable Friends stamp set from K. Andrews Designs. The faux pearls are from Prima. I hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Halloween Treat Bags

Evening everyone! I've got the treat bags for our grands made and I wanted to show them to y'all. And they fit perfectly with the Action Wobble Wednesday Challenge. For challenge #31 they want something Halloween related and of course it has to wobble!! I used my new Create-A-Critter cartridge. I know I'm gonna be using this cartridge a lot! I love it. I cut the spider and pumpkin from page 53 at 3.5 inches. The bee and bat from page 59. I cut the bee at 3.5 inches and the bat at 1.75 inches. The piece I used for the base was cut from Elegant Edges. I'm so sorry, but I failed to write size and page down for it. I used some Star Dust and Diamond Stickles and some Glossy Accents. The sentiment is from the Spooky Sayings stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. And of course I used my action wobbles under each character!!! This challenge ends tonight but they will have a new one starting tomorrow. Hope y'all like my treat bags!!!! :)
The bat was the only one that I could get a photo of it wobbling. The others would stop wobbling before I could get the camera in focus!

Harvest Blessings

Today I have a card to share with you that I made to enter into the challenge over at Bitten By The Bug 2. Their challenge this week is to make a project using a pumpkin, but not halloween pumpkins. I used the Happily Ever After cartridge to make my pumpkin. It can be found on page 40. I cut it at 2.75 inches. I also cut the icon pumpkin to use on the inside of my card. I cut that one at 1.50 inches. I did some doodling. The sentiment is from the Thankful for You stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. I stamped, trimmed it down and notched the end. I also made to more layers and did the same to them. I glued it down, but left the notched end unglued so I could curl them up. I added some bling to the other end of the sentiment piece. The bg designer cardstock is from Cosmo Cricket. I know the DT Members over at  Bitten By The Bug 2 would love for you to join in on their challenge. It is so much fun!!! Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

Too cute to SPOOK!

I hope the start to your week has been good. It has been cold here. Yeah I know!!!! Where did Fall go?! It's coming back by the end of the week, but we have to endure 30's at night right now. Brrrrrrr!! The dogs have been hogging the heaters leaving Hubby and I out in the cold!!! Hahaha I spent my day in my crafty room working on a few challenges I wanted to enter. I really like how this card turned out. This great Silly Ghost is a freebie over at SKdigis by Sonia Kertznus. You can use Silly Ghost to enter her current challenge which is to create a 'Card with a Ghost'. How much easier could it be? Sonia offers the freebie and you just made a card and link it up!! Thank you Sonia for Silly Ghost!! I printed him twice and colored both the same. I colored him with my Copics. I used RV00 and RV02 for his tongue. For his body I used B000 and B00. His eyes were colored with my Red Spica Glitter Marker. I then added some tiny little googly eyes (on the top one only). I then cut them out. The bg designer cardstock is from DCWV-the Doodlin' Around Stack. I just let the paper do all of the bg work for me. Wait until you see the inside piece!! The senitment on the outside is from the More Spooky Sayings stamp set and the inside sentiment is from the Oct 31st stamp set. Both stamp sets are from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. Now for the reason I printed and colored two Silly Ghost's: I glued one to the card front and then put the top one on an action wobble!!! Yes I did!!!!! The challenge over at Action Wobble Wednesday Challenge is Whatever Wobbles!!! So this is just perfect to enter the challenge. Now this challenge ends tonight, but they will feature a new one tomorrow. But Sonia's challenge doesn't end until this Sunday. I know she would love for you to hop over and enter. I know they would love for you to enter the challenge for Wobble Wednesday's too!! Hope y'all like my 'Silly Ghost' card!!!! :)
I'm also linking my card up at My Crafting Channel for The gh'oul times challenge.

See the spider in the corner up there? It's printed on the paper. I love it!!!
It is the top of the the piece I used on the front of my card.

Exploring Cricut-Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Happy Monday y'all!!!!! So happy you decided to come by and visit me. Today starts a new challenge at Exploring Cricut. Since this is breast cancer awareness month, we would love for you to make a card, layout or papercraft symbolizing hope against the fight for breast cancer. You will need to use pink and add a sentiment. For my card I went real simple. I cut the ribbon from the Stand and Salute cartridge. It can be found on page 31. I cut it at 4 inches. I also cut one for the inside at 1.5 inches. I cut the shadow also. I then ran them through my Zyron and then coated them with Martha Stewart Crystal Coarse Glitter. Oh how it sparkles!!! I finished up my card with some faux pink half pearls from Creative Charms. I added my sentiment on the inside of my card instead of the front. I used the Believe In Miracles stamp set from Scrappy Mom's. Hop over and check out the projects that my DT Sisters and Brother have created for inspiration. Awesomeness for sure!!! Then head to your crafty space and create a project and link it up by 10 pm, EST, Saturday Oct. 13th. And who knows, you just might be the lucky one to win the prize!!! Looking forward to seeing what you make! Hope y'all like my card!!!! :)

SKdigis Challenge #4

Well I'm gonna tell you that the challenge over at SKdigis this week was just that for me. Sonia wants an embossed card with monsters. Can either dry or heat emboss. I'm not all that great at heat embossing so I had to really think what I was gonna do with the embossing folders that I have. I decided to go with the free Monster 1 image that Sonia is offering. I think she looks like an alien. I colored her with my copics in reads and blues. I used a Spira Glitter Marker to color his teeth and to highlight the eyelashes and right under the eyebrow. I embossed the bg paper with the Cuttlebug Polka Dots Embossing Folder. I used a Spellbinders Scalloped Ovals to cut her out with. I computer generated the sentiment. Cut them out, matted them and then popped them up. And that's it. I think one of the Grands will really like this. The one that likes candy the most. Oh, wait a minute.....that's all of them!!! Hope y'all like my card!!!
I know that Sonia would love for you to pop over to SKdigis, look around, try out a freebie and enter her challenge. I sure am enjoying myself!! And I so love Sonia's digis!!! I bought some more last night with the gift certificate that I won from Sonya during the blog hop! Thank you Sonya!!! :)

Rocking around the Christmas Tree

Yeah I know, it isn't even Halloween yet!! But the challenge this week over at Bitten By The Bug 2 is to use a tree on your project. So I thought this would be a perfect way to get another of my many Christmas Cards made. Don't you just love the polka dotted tree? Well, the challenge over at Action Wobbles Wednesday Challenge (that ends tonight) is to add any polka dots to your project along with an action wobble. So hence my polka dotted tree. I cut this tree from the Paper Trimmings cartridge at 5.25 inches. It looks like it was made for an action wobble! The polka dotted paper is from K & Company-Confetti Paper Pad and the snowflake bg paper is from Paper Studio-Spunky Funky Christmas Paper Pad. I used some Star Dust Stickles on the flower on the top of the tree and then decorated with gems from the Paper Studio. The sentiment is from the Holly Jolly stamp set from Mary-Cardz TV Stamps. You need to head over and take a look. Mary has added some new stamp sets. She even added a new set in her store today. You sure don't want to miss out on these!! Okay, I think that is it for this go around. Hope y'all like my card!!!!
You know, I just know for a fact that the wonderful Ladies over at Bitten By The Bug 2 and Action Wobbles would love for you to come by, take a look around and then enter their challenges. I know that I sure love joining in!!! :)
