Bitten By The Bug 2-Disney

This week at Bitten By The Bug 2 the theme is Disney. The focus is on the newer release Disney Cartridges, but you can use whichever you have if you don't have any of the newer ones. I have to tell ya'll that I really thought about not even bothering to put mine here and link it up after seeing the card that my sweet friend Theresa aka Scrapper 69 made. Her's is just awesome!!! But alas, I decided since I had everything cut and put together I would go ahead. I didn't make a card this time. I know, shocking isn't it?!!! I used the Toy Story Cartridge. Our youngest Grandson loves Woody. For Christmas he got a talking Woody. One of his favorite things he says is 'There's a Snake in my Boot!'. He justs laughs and laughs when he says that! He's such a funny child. So I decided to make a layout for him. I used the boot and rope (I think it works great for a snake look!) from page 32, the sentiment from page 34 and the star from page 31. The star will be where I put a photo. I really wanted something western looking for the background. Hunted through my stash and came across this bandana paper and decided that would be perfect. I didn't do any doodling and things to this layout. He is all boy and I thought just plain and to the point works best for him. A new challenge won't be posted until Monday so you have plenty of time to create something Disney and enter it!! Hope ya'll like my layout!!! :)

Birthday Sundaes-#2

This week at the new challenge blog Birthday Sundaes the theme is Spring Birthday Cards. Don't forget to put a birthday greeting or sentiment on the front. I let the cardstock do most of the work for me on this card. I just love it!! I cut the little birds from the Once Upon A Princess Cartridge. I flipped one so they would face each other. I colored the legs and feet with a black Copic and used a little black half pearl for the eyes. The sentiment is from a stamp I have in my stash. Hop over and join in on the fun!! They post a new challenge on Sundays so you have plenty of time!! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

My Sheri Crafts-#50

This week at My Sheri Crafts for challenge #50 the theme is 'Spring'. I let my bg cardstock help me with this card. All I did was cut 'Spring' from the Lyrical Letters Cartridge. Plain and simple. Sheri won't post a new challenge until Saturday so you have enough time to create a card and link it. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Thinking of You Card

I have a great friend who's sister was in a terrible automobile accident. She asked us if we would make a card for her. Of course, I was glad to. I had won some digi stamps from a blog hop that I hopped a little while back, so decided to use one of those for this card. This is 'Angel' from Glitterbabes Digis She has some really great digis. Go check them out!! I used my Copics to color Angel. The sentiment is a stamp from my stash. The inside is computer generated and I got the saying from Ultimate guide to the perfect Card. A book with sentiments and sayings for the creative cardmaker. A great book to get sentiments from. Please keep this young lady in your prayers. Her name is Erica. Hope ya'll like my card!! :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge-#67

Here I am cutting it right down to the last minute again!! Mary over at Cricut Cardz  challenged everyone to make a Spring card using the colors pink, green and white only. You can use any cartridges you'd like. So I cut these clouds and kite from Create A Critter. Used Peachy Keen Wide Eyed Kids face assortment stamp set on the clouds. The sentiment are from some word stamps that I have in my stash. Now, Mary will announce a new challenge tomorrow so head over and join in on the fun. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Jitterbuggin-Bloom Where You Ae Planted

Here I am cutting it right down to the last minute. So let's get right to it. Sherri over at Jitterbuggin has this awesome sketch that is to be followed. She also asked for a Cricut flower and include pink and purple somewhere on the card. I used 3 Birds on Parade for the egg shell and Create A Critter for the flowers. I decided to make this an Easter card since Spring and flowers make me think about Easter coming. All of the papers/cardstocks except for the cardbase are from my scrap bin. Sherri will be posting a new challenge tomorrow, so hop over there and join in on the fun. She always has the greatest sketchs for you to follow! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

I now have pictures of my projects!! WootWoot!! Hope ya'll like!! :)

Paper Playtime-Digi Monday #42

It's Monday, It's Monday, WhooHoo It's Monday!!!!! Now why in the world would I ever be glad that it is Monday, you may be asking. Well........'cus it is time for another Paper Playtime Digi Monday!!! And let me tell ya, I got carried away this month!!! I couldn't just pick one of the digi's that we were offered. I did a total of 6 projects from 5 of the digi companies!! Yeah!! And if I hadn't of had other things to do, I think I would have done more!! Now, for Digi Mondays, it is any thing goes with a digi. You have until Saturday April 9th to link up your project. Can't wait to see what ya'll create!!!
My first project is a card I made with a digi from Digis With Attitude called Prom Tween. I colored her with my Copics. Her dress I color with Spica-mint and her shoes, crown, eye shadow, ring and bracelet bling are Spica-gold. The bg cardstock is from k i memories-Girly Girls Cardstock stack. The sentiment was computer generated. The green stones were clear so I colored them with a Copic. For some reason I failed to take a picture of the inside. All I did to tie it to the outside was to put 3 stones on the side. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

I don't know what is going on with blogger but it won't let me add another picture to my post. So I'm gonna have to do a new post for each project. Sorry!! Would love for ya'll to look at each one if you have a moment to look. :)

Paper Playtime Digi Monday 2nd Project

Now for this card I used a digi from Di's Digi Downloads called Posting Purrfect Love. This sweet little kitty is just adorable sending out her mail. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Everyday Occasion stamp set. I didn't do anything on the inside of this card. I'm sending it out in the mail to my Sister in Texas this afternoon. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Paper Playtime Digi Monday 3rd Project

For my third project I made an easel card. For this one I used a digi from Doodle Pantry called Watermelon Lunch. The sentiment is also from Doodle Pantry. And once again, I colored this with my Copics. The bg cardstock is from DCWV-the Doodlin' Around Stack. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Paper Playtime Digi Monday 4th Project

I made a 6X6 card for this project. The digi I used this time is from Digital Delights by Louby Loo called Dilly Duck in The Rain. The bg cardstock is from Nana's Kids. The sheet had all these different size rectangles with flowers and flowers with butterflies, etc. on them. I cut them all apart and chose the ones I wanted to use. The blue striped paper I pulled out of my scrap bin. The sentiment on the outside and inside are computer generated, punched out with a circle punch and then I added a bling. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Paper Playtime Digi Monday-5th and 6th projects

I think I've figured out how to get more than one picture on my post, so I'm going to combine these two since I did both from the same digi company. This digi is from Prairie Fairy Designs and is called Bo Billy Bunny. First I made a card. Surprise Surprise Surprise!!! HaHaHa!! It is a super simple card. I colored Bo Billy with my Copics, cut him out and put him on this polka dot paper. The sentiment is a wood stamp. Now for my next project.......now are ya'll ready for this! I made a layout!! Yeah. Not another card!!!  I again used Bo Billy Bunny. I made him bigger, colored him with my copics and again cut him out. I pulled this sheet of cardstock out of my stash. Love the grass at the bottom for him to sit in. The egg for the photo and the sentiment were cut from Easter 2010 Cartridge. I added these buttons with some twine from The Twinery and this carrot brad from my stash. This does it for my projects. Now it's ya'll turn to create a project made from paper and digi and link it over at Paper Playtime Looking forward to seeing what ya'll create!!! Hope ya'll like my card and layout!!! :)

Bitten by The Bug 2-Paisley Dachshund

Melissa is hosting this weeks Bitten by The Bug 2 challenge. She chose the Dachshund from the Paisley Cartridge. Now of course if you don't have this cart, use a dog from another cart. I made a really really simple card. I cut the cute little Dachshund, used this yellow with white polka dots on it paper and these blue buttons that I had in my stash. I put some blue hemp in the button holes. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Punny-licious stamp set. They post a new challenge on Mondays so you have plenty of time to create something and link it up!! Hope ya'll like my simple little card!!! :)

Birthday Sundaes-#1

Have ya'll heard about the new challenge blog Birthday Sundaes? They will only accept Birthday Cards, unless otherwise stated in a challenge. Each card must have some sort of birthday greeting/wording on the front of the card, only one entry per person during prize weeks and their challenges run from Sunday to Saturday. For the very first challenge it is 'Anything Goes Birthday Card'!! Who couldn't use a stash of birthday cards. I think I'm gonna enjoy joining in on these challenges!! I made an A2 size card. I used the donkey from the Birthday Bash Cartridge. The happy birthday and balloon is also from BB. I popped the donkey up on foam tape and I don't think you can see it in the picture because of the blue background, but I used some blue thread for the balloon string and to tie my donkey to the birthday. I had these red buttons in my stash. All the papers except for the cardbase are from my scrap bin. Hop over and join in on the fun at this great new challenge blog. Who knows, you might be the one to win the prize they are giving away. Of course, I hope I'm the one that wins instead of you, 'cus I want that cute stamp that they're giving away!!! LOL Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Cardz TV Bunny Week Challenge

Mary over at Cardz TV is making Easter cards this week and she decided to issue a challenge. You are to make a card, layout or craft project with a bunny on it. You have until midnight EST March 27 to link your project. I decided to make a card. Surpised by that aren't you?!! HaHaHa!!! I made an A2 card and used 3 Birds on Parade Cartridge. It has this adorable little bird dressed up like a bunny on it that I just love!! I also used the sentiment. I popped up the egg shell and used these little buttons that I had in my stash. The polka dotted cardstock is from My Little Shoebox-Holly Jolly-Douglas Fir. Yeah, Christmas! The other side has Christmas trees on it! I think it works perfectly for my card!! I found it in my scrap bin. In fact, everything except the cardbase is from my scrap bin. I'm slowly but surely using them. Not up, 'cus I have so much, but using them! Now it's your turn to create something with a bunny on it and link it up. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Sympathy Card

My Mom wanted me to make a sympathy card for her. She said to make it really simple. So that's what I did. The front is a wooden stamp from American Arts. I colored it with my Copics. Then I cut it out with a Nestablities Scallop Oval. I also used a wood stamp on the inside for the sentiment. Mom was very happy with it. I haven't posted a non-challenge card in a long time. I do make cards that are non-challenge, I just don't post them. Maybe I'll start posting more of them. I hope ya'll like my card!! :)

Jitterbugging-It's Not Easy Being Green!

This week over at Jitterbuggin Sherri has issued the cutest challenge. It's Not Easy Being Green! Now, when I read this, I thought of frogs! Yep, frogs. You are to follow the sketch, use green on your card and of course, use your Cricut!! I used the frog from the Sweethearts Cartridge. I used bling for the eyes and put small ones on the tips of the crown. Also in two of the corners on the front and inside. All the papers and cardstocks that I used except for the cardbase are from my scrap bin, so I don't know where the designer cardstock is from. I didn't put a sentiment on my card. I will when I decide what I'm going to use it for. Sherri issues a new challenge on Wednesdays so you still have enough time to create a 'green' card and enter! Hope ya'll like my froggy card!!! :)

My Sheri Crafts-#49

I didn't get a card made for last weeks challenge over at My Sheri Crafts. It took forever to come up with an idea and then when I did the cuts and put it together, I didn't like it. Not even a little bit!! I know there are others that have done that same thing. It was one for the recycle box!! This week Sheri has a new challenge. Now, I've never done a challenge like this one before, so I hope I did this right. It's Monochromactic. You simply choose one color and use at least 2 hues for your project. I went with blues. Everything is a shade of blue. The flowers are cut from the Mother's Day Bouquet Cartridge. I put blings in the centers and some bling butterflies that I had in blue. The sentiment is from STampin' Up Whimsical Words that was blog candy that I won. It says: 'you're never more than a thought away.' It's kinda hard to see in the picture since I stamped it in blue, but looks fine in person. Now, Sheri posts a new challenge every Saturday, so you have oodles of time to get a monochromatic project made and enter in the challenge. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Flaunt It Fridays-Birthday Bash Bunny Hop-Blog Hop

If you are hunting for the I'm So Lucky Blog Hop, click here. Then come back and join in on this one, too! :)
This week is our Blog Hop over at Flaunt It Fridays Today through Sunday, so if you don't have a chance to visit everyone today, you'll have time before the weekend is over! We are using the Birthday Bash Cartridge. The bunny with present on page 27 is the challenge cut. And we also used another cut from the booklet for a second project to share. If you came here from Glenda's blog then you are in the right place. Wasn't her creations awesome?! Now, if you just came to visit me and you want to join in on the hop, start here. For my Bunny with present project, I made a 12x12 layout. The background paper is from Sassafras-Bungle Jungle Paper Pad. The border on the side and the journal piece are also from this paper pad. I added this little flower paperclip to the corner of the journal piece. I cut the sentiment from page 27 also. The big present on the left side will be where I will put a photo. I will use this for one of the Grands birthday pages. Can never have to many layout pages with 9 Grands!!
Now, for my other project I made a card. Yeah, a card. Just had to make one!!! It is A2 size. I used the monkey and sentiment from page 36. I think this will be a cute card for a boy since the monkey has a bat in his hand. Or even for a girl that plays ball, I guess. I cut the monkey and it's layers at 3 inches. Can't remember what I cut the sentiment at. The bg monkey paper is from Simply Fun by reminisce paper pad that I got at Michaels. Did a bit of doodling to the monkey, bat and sentiment. A real easy and simple card.

Hope ya'll like my projects!! :)
Now go check out the amazing talent over at Amanda's blog. And don't forget to create a project from Birthday Bash-Bunny w/Present and link it up. Now, if you don't have this cart, use one with something similar. Can't wait to see what you create. Now, you need to visit all of the stops and leave a comment at each one in order to have a chance to win the grand prize. What's the grand prize you're wondering. Well, we are being sponsored by Peachy Keen Stamps. So the stamp set you could win is the Wide Eyed and Bushy Tailed Assortment. I would love to have this set myself!!!
Now, if you get lost, just come back by and take a look below for the great lineup of talent.
Oh, by the way, I have a little blog candy to give away. All I ask is for you to leave me a way to get in touch with you, either an e-mail or blog addy. And also, because of the cost of postage, a US or Canada address. Sorry!! You don't have to be a follower, but I sure won't shed a sad tear if you decided to!!! LOL
American Crafts Stamp Collection-Thanks and a Zig 2 Way. I will be drawing the winner late Sunday night and announcing the winner on Monday morning.
