Cricut Cardz Challenge #59

This week at Cricut Cardz challenge #59 is to make a Valentine's Day card for a child using any cartridges or colors. I used the little heart candy cuts from Simply Charmed cartridge. I didn't cut the faces, I hid those, because I wanted to use Peachy Keen stamps on them. I used Simply Sallies Face Assortment and Happy Lashes Assortment. The sentiment is a stamp. Hop over and join in on the fun. You have until Tuesday to enter. Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Crafty Creations-Let's Heat It Up!

Such a fun challenge this week over at Crafty Creations Think about warmer weather! Use heat embossing, warm colors, hot beverages or hotter places to heat it up this week! They will post a new challenge on Wednesday so you still have enough time to create and enter! I used The sand bucket, sand and sentiment from the Simply Charmed cartridge.  I cut the sand big so I could have a little dune for the sand bucket to sit on. Popped it up. The bg cardstock is from AC Patterened Paper-Heat Wave.  Hop over and enter your creation in the challenge! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Jitterbuggin Sketch #32

This week at Jitterbuggin Sherri has an awesome sketch for us to follow in the Let the Sunshine In challenge! She also wants you to include yellow somewhere on your card, add something with stripes and as always, include something Cricut. Oh and also, make it happy! You have until Tuesday to submit your card. I used the ice cream cone from the Simply Charmed cartridge. I hid the face that usually cuts with it so I could use this stamp from Peachy Keen's Happy Lashes Assortment. The ice cream cut doesn't come with the drips but the popsicle after it in the booklet does. So I hid the popsicle and just cut the drips. Hop over and join in on the fun. You still have time to create a card and enter! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Paper Playtime Digi Monday

Today is Monday so that means a new challenge at Paper Playtime but wait, this is not just a regular challenge. This is our first Digi Monday challenge!! The last Monday of every month for this year will be Digi Monday. The challenge for these Mondays will always be "Anything Goes"!  We have these awesome Digi Companies offering super prizes! They have provided us Digi Monday Queens with some of the best digi stamps for us to create with. Can't wait for ya'll to see what they have created! So much awesomeness over at PPT!!! I chose to use Little Red Riding Hood from Digital Delights by Louby Loo and made 2 projects. I colored the first one with Copics. The second one is colored with Prismacolor Colored Pencils. Got them colored and couldn't decide how to use them. I looked at them for a while as I comtemplated what to make. I decided to use the Copic one on a box. I had this 7 inch PM box that I had picked up at HL on 1/2 off a while back. I covered it with sassafras-Bungle Jungle cardstock using Modge Podge. Had to piece it because the cardstock wasn't big enough. I did make some mistakes but since this was my first box to cover, I don't think it is to bad. I cut out Little Red and the toadstools and used MP to adhear them to the front of the box. Then I covered the whole box and lid with a good coat of MP. My second project is an A2 card. I again cut out Little Red and the toadstools. I used DCWV-The Green Stack for the bg cardstock. I glued the toadstools down and popped up Little Red. The sentiment is from Handwritten Notes Stamp Set from Papertreyink. I punched it out with a 1 1/2 inch circle punch. I punched out a few more circles and adhered them together and then popped it up. I colored one of the toadstools and cut it out for the inside. Now it is your turn to create! You have until midnight CT on Saturday Feb. 5th.  And while you are over linking your creation, check out the awesomeness that the Queens have created to inspire you!!! We also have a Guest Designer to inspire you this week. She is Gemma. Her blog is Handmade by Gem . Check out her blog. She has some great creations over there!  Hope ya'll like my box and card!!! :)

Flaunt It Fridays #9

Sorry I guess I thought this had posted. Work has been really crazy and was not able to get on hardly any Friday or Saturday!! :)
It's Friday!!! And we all know what that means. Yep, another challenge at Flaunt It Fridays YooHoo!! This week we are challenged to 'flaunt' the dog and cat border feature on page 104 from the Paper Pups cartridge. I decided to do a layout. I did the bg in black, the puppy in white and the kitty in orange. The heart/love is the shift for the border feature. I cut it all in red and then ran the word love off the edge of the page on my Gypsy Girl so only the heart would cut and did it in this patterned paper that I got it out of my scrap bin. The little orange and white hearts is where I will put a photo. Okay. Now it is your turn to 'flaunt' your stuff and create using Paper Pups. But if you don't have this cart, create with something similar. And while you are over linking up your creation, make sure you check out what the other members of the DT have created to inspire you. You'll see that not all of them are made from Paper Pups and our DT members create some awesome stuff! Hope ya'll like my layout!!! :)

Bitten by the Bug 2-Butterfly

This week at Bitten by the Bug 2 Lori selected the challenge. She decided to go with the butterfly on page 59 from the Once Upon a Princess cartridge. I cut my butterfly from scraps from my scrap bin. Used some Diamond Stickles on the blue pieces. Also used white half pearls down the body part. Popped the butterfly up on the card. The senitment is from Papertrey Ink-Heartfelt Basic stamp set. I used an ek punch to punch it out and then put some white half pearls on it. The bg pattern cardstock is from DCWV-Citrus Stack. On the inside, I used the little hearts that cut from the top wings. They post a new challenge every Monday, so you have loads of time to get a butterfly card made and linked. So hop to it and get to creating and join in on the fun!! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Paper Playtime-PARTY!!!!!!! :)

WhooHoo!!! It's Monday again and another challenge over at Paper Playtime is in order. This week Team 2 has been challenged to do creations with 'Party' as the theme. Now these can be an invite, banner, pencil topper, bookmarks, place setting cards, thank you's, etc. You know, anything that is party related. But we know that anything can be made into a party!!! Catherine Pooler (a Stampin Up Rep.) is our sponsor this week. Hop over and check out her blog. She does some awesome work!! I had decided to make a couple of place seating cards for this challenge. Cut them out, put them together and didn't like them. They just didn't make me happy. So I knew I had to come up with something else. So I decided to do an invite. I cut everything out from the Old West cartridge. The bg paper is from atd-Specialty Collection-Summer Fun. I just ran a piece of the same down the side on the inside since I needed the white bg to write the info on. I just love the barbecue sign. I blotted my ink pad on it to give it more of a wood look. Okay, now it is your turn. Create away and then hop on over and link your creation up so we can come and admire it! And while you are over there linking away, check out what my Team Mates have created for some inspiration. They do some awesome things with paper!! You have until midnight, Saturday January 29th. Hope ya'll like my invite!! :)

Happy 18th Birthday

A really wonderful friend has a daughter who is turning 18 the first part of February. Just had to make her a card. She loves purple, orange and pink. She also loves gloves and hats. She likes white gloves but I made the ones on the card pink to match the hat. I used Forever Young cartridge. I did not cut the flowers that went on either one. I wanted to use my own. I colored the ones on the gloves with Copics and I sprayed the one on the hat with Popsicle Glimmer Mist. I used brads in the center of the small flowers and a half pearl that I colored with a Copic in the center of the big flower. The sentiment is a stamp and I punched it out with an ek punch. The bg pattern cardstock is from ki memories-Girly Girl stack. I did a little bit of faux stitching. Hope ya'll like my card!! :)

Jitterbuggin-Brown

I'm on a roll! I'm ahead on my challenge cards! WootWoot!! This week at Jitterbuggin Sherri wants cards made out of brown and one other accent color! You can use any sketch, any Cricut cut, all the white/cream/brown accents you want, but your card should be based on brown and only one other major color. Oh, and one more thing, add a bow somewhere on your card. You have until 11:59 EST on January
25 to link your card. I couldn't decide what other color I wanted to use. I thought about yellow but brown/black kept going through my head, so that's what I went with. I decided to cut this little dog from Four Legged Friends cartridge. I think it looks so sweet. But looks can be deceiving!! The bone is cut from Create A Critter cart. The sentiment is from a $1 stamp set that I got from M's a good while back. It has the 'bad to' at the top, a bone in the middle and 'the bone' at the bottom. I inked the 'bad to', stamped it, cleaned off the stamp and inked 'the bone', stamped it. I told you that looks can be deceiving!! LOL I did a little bit of doodling and some faux stitching. The bow I tied using some brown ribbon I had gotten at HL. The bg paper is from HL, too. Hop on over and join in on the fun. You have plenty of time! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Crafty Creations-#102

This week over at Crafty Creations the challenge is to create a card that has birds on it and to also include polka dots and the color green. I picked out my bg papers before I did my cuts! I just love the sassafras-Bungle Jungle paper pack. I used the green and the polka dot from this stack. Then I cut my bird and sentiment from the Straight From The Nest cartridge. I cut extras of the body and wing of the big bird and extras of the little birds so I could pop them up. I used blue half pearls for the eyes. I also did a little bit of doodling. Now you have plenty of time to join in on this challenge. They won't post a new one until Wednesday. So get to creating and join in on the fun!! Hope ya'll like my card!!!! :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #58

Bet you wasn't expecting me to get my card done this early for Cricut Cardz did you?! After doing some house stuff most of the day, I got into my craft room and got busy. I finished 3 creations and have a great idea for a 4th one! I'll get to it after church tomorrow. Now this week Mary said to make a card with a snowman. You can use any cartridge and any colors, just make sure it has a snowman on it. Now I really wanted to do something different this time. I typed snowman into my Gyspy Girl's index and looked through all the different ones on all the cartridges. I came across the snowman face on Very Merry Tags cart. Hummmm......I know I can use this in some way. After a bit of thought I decided to make a round card from it. I hid everything on the tag, duplicated it and then welded it together to make my card base. Then I took apart (so to speak) everything that went on the tag. I cut the eyes, mouth pieces and hat piece and then the nose seperately so I could have the 2 different colors. I hid and did everything on 3 layers in my Gypsy Girl. It all looked like the biggest mess. Had to really look to see what I had hid and hadn't!! I also cut a circle to go on the inside. The snowflake and snowman was cut from core'dinations Pearls cardstock. This is super heavy cardstock that has a pearlized look to it. I don't know if you can really tell it from the photo though. I really like it. The sentiment is a stamp. Well, that's all there is to my card. You have until midnight, Tuesday, January 25th to create a snowman card, so get to creating and join in on the fun!!  Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Flaunt It Fridays-Give A Hoot

It's Friday! WhooHoo!!!! I'm excited! I'm off this weekend!!!! Oh and it's a new Flaunt It Friday's challenge!!!! WhooHoo!!!! This week we were asked to 'flaunt' the Bear in Trash Can on page 61 from the Give A Hoot cartridge. Now if you don't have this cart, just use a cut that is similar to it and come join us! I hid the face on the bear on my Gypsy Girl so I could stamp the face. I used Peach Keen Critter Faces Set A Medium. The trash can pattern cardstock is from Basic Grey-euphoria and the bg paper is Basic Grey-Offbeat paper pad. The sentiment I did on the computer and punched it out with an EK punch. I punched several out, stacked them and then glued them on. I didn't want to pop it up like I did the trash can and bear. I think this will make a great graduation card. Now it is your turn. Hop over to FIF's and enter your creation and while you are there, check out what the DT has created to inspire you!! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

My Sheri Crafts Challenge #40-Bling

This week over at My Sheri Crafts challenge #40 is to use bling on your project. Well, I can do that for sure!! I need some Thank You cards so I decided to take care of both of these with this card. I cut the hummingbird and thank you both from Lyrical Letters cartridge. I cut the hummingbirds from white Georgia Pacific cardstock and then colored them with Copic Markers. I used half black pearls for the eyes. I then put some bling into the centers of some of the flowers on the bg paper. The bg paper is from My Mind's Eye-simply Delightful Paper Pad. Sheri posts new challenges on Saturdays so you have plenty of time to create something with bling and link it! So go for it!!! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Cricut Cardz Challenge #57

Here I am again, pushing it almost to the last minute to get my card made and entered. I'm gonna have to stop this 'cus I'm not really happy with this one. The current challenge at Cricut Cardz Challenge is to make a card using any cartridge and theme that you'd like, 'but' you can only use the colors red, black and white! Okay. I drew a blank. Don't know why, but I just couldn't come up with anything. Then I decided to make a butterfly shaped card. I used Graphally Speaking cartridge. I laid everything out on my Gypsy Girl. I used the shadow feature and welded two of them together to get the card itself. Then I cut the butterfly itself. Then I cut a small butterfly cut from the shadow to put on the inside. I used these big half white pearls on the front and did some black faux stitching. On the inside I used little red half pearls. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper Buggy Punnies stamp set and I stamped it in white. You have until midnight EST tonight to get your card entered so I think you may have enough time! Hope ya'll like my card!! :)

Crafty Creations

Over at Crafty Creations the current challenge is New Beginnings. Any new beginning. A new job, home, baby, start in life, etc. They will post a new challenge tomorrow but I think you still have time to get something linked! One of the head-cashiers at work started a new job. He will be working with us on the weekends for a while but during the week he will be answering the phone and dealing with billing for this new job of his. So I made him this card. I cut 'congratulations' along with the shadow from 3 Birds on Parade cartridge. The phone I cut from Nifty Fifties cartridge. The bg paper is from MS Playful Blue and Green Paper Pad. I used Gossy Accents on the middle of the dial, the little dots, the leg fronts and the earpiece ends. I think it turned out pretty cute and okay for a guy. At least I hope it is!! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)
Well, I had taken a picture of the inside but I don't seem to have it now. Don't have a clue where it ran off to, so am only showing the front of the card. :)

Jitterbuggin and Bitten by the Bug 2

I was working on this card for the Jitterbuggin challenge yesterday. Took a break and decided to see what
Bitten by the Bug 2 new challenge was. What do my wandering eyes see but the challenge to use Birthday Bash cartridge and use either the bird or the armadillo. WootWoot!! The very cart and bird that I was working on for my Jitterbuggin card!! Now what are the odds of that?! Sherri has another great sketch for you to follow, add your favorite Cricut bird and use something pink. Now for BBB2 if you don't have Birthday Bash, just use any bird or armadillo. The bg and circle papers are from Tim Holtz idea-ology Vintage Shabby Paper Stack.  Used black half pearls for the eyes. Did a little bit of doodling. The sentiment is from My Pink Stamper's Tweetie Hoo Puns stamp set. You have until 11:59 EST tonight to enter Jitterbuggin's challenge and Bitten by the Bug 2 will post a new challenge next Monday, so if you hurry you can enter both challenges!! Hope ya'll like my card!!! :)

Paper Playtime #34-Love

Team 1 is shining over at Paper Playtime for this new challenge! The theme is 'Love'!! Do a paper creation of any kind using the word 'love' on it. How fun is that?! The sponsor for this challenge is Michelle's Scrapbooking and More and she has donated a gift certificate to her store. I made an 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 card.
The bg paper is from K and Company-Smitten Cardstock Paper Pack. The hearts have little circles of glitter in them. I cut the 'lovebug', flowers and sentiment from the Create-A-Critter cartridge. I hid the face on my bug so I could use this cute face from Peachy Keen Snow Cuties Face Assortment set. It had eyebrows but I didn't stamp those. I wiped the ink off of that part before I stamped the face. Then I used a little bit of pink ink on her cheeks. I cut extra flowers so I could pop up the top layer. Then I popped up my little lovebug even higher. Now it is your turn. You have until midnight CST on Sunday January 22 to enter. While you are there linking your creation, check out the awesomeness that DT 1 has created to inspire you! Hope ya'll like my card!! :)

Flaunt It Fridays

I sure hope ya'll had a great time with last weeks challenge and blog hop. I know that I sure did!!  I am so honored to be on the DT with some of the most talented Ladies! Flaunt It Fridays is an awesome challenge blog that challenges us to 'Flaunt' a cut from a certain cartridge that they assign each week. Of course you can still 'flaunt' along with us even if you don't have the chosen cartridge. Just use a cut similar. This week the cartridge we are 'flaunting' is Mini Monsters and the cut is the skull on page 65. Now I really had to think hard on this one. I normally wouldn't even cut and use the skull and cross bones. Just not my thing. I finally came up with the idea for this tag. I did it all on my Gypsy Girl. I took the base and hid everything and enlarged it to make the base for my tag. I cut three of these so I could stack them so it would be sturdier. The I cut the regular base in black and the layer in this pink. I put some bling in the eye holes. The 'stay healthy' is from Wild Card. I just kerned my letters so they would cut out together for the words. On the back I used a stamp for the lines. You can use the back to write things down to help you with your diet or for whatever you would want to use it for. I took my Croc-a-dile and punched a hole in the corner and put an eyelet there and some bradding cord through the hole. When I showed it to DH, I told him that this is what you will look like if you don't stay healthy. He gave me a really funny look. I think he thought I meant him!!! LOL You have a week to make a great creation for this challenge! Those that joined in last week, how about trying something different this week. You don't 'have' to make something different but it would be fun to try new things!! So hope over and take a look at what the other DT members have created to inspire you. They are just awesome!! Hope to see your creation link there! Hope ya'll like my tag!! :)

My Sheri Crafts and Jitterbuggin

This card I am using for two challenges this week. First is for Jitterbuggin Sherri has the cutest sketch for us to follow. I think I say that about them all don't I?! I just love Sherri's sketches!! The theme is Let it Snow!
The rules are to follow the sketch, use 'blue' somewhere on your card and include something snow related-
snowman, snowflake, penguin, etc. All of Sherri's challenge require you to use a Cricut cut. You have until midnight tonight to link your card. So plenty of time still. Now for My Sheri Crafts challenge #39, the theme is Winter! You are challenged to show what winter is for you. Well I'm gonna tell ya'll that it usually doesn't snow here in Alabama. We might get a flake or two now and then but not a whole lot. Usually we get ice if we get anything. Well Christmas Day and the day after we got snow. How exciting for us!! A white Christmas!!! Then this past Sunday night it started snowing and right now we have around 8 or so inches on the ground. It's starting to melt but gosh it has been beautiful!!! Hope this is it for this year!! LOL So I had to use a snowwoman on my card and some snowflakes. I cut the darling little snowwoman from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. (Now that I have this cart, I'll be using it a lot I think!) I hid her little face on my Gypsy Girl so I could use this Peachy Keen Snow Cuties face on her. Doesn't she look happy?! I have a blade for my paper trimmer that cuts these swirl lines so I used it to make my snow for her to stand on. The snowflakes are from a MS punch. I then sprayed the snow, bg, snowflakes and snowwoman with Sparkle Sheer Shimmer Spritz by Tsukineko. Love the shine it gave them!! I added these blue half pearls to the center of each snowflake. Last by not least I put this little pompom on the top of her hat. Oh yes, the sentiment. This is an awesome stamp that I picked up at Scrappin Kats. I'm sad to say that she had to close up shop. :(  Sheri posts a new challenge every Saturday so you have plenty plenty of time to link a project! So get busy making some awesome projects to share!! Hope ya'll like my card! :)
I don't know why this first photo has a yellow tint to it. I made it along with others this morning and this is the only one like this. I didn't realize it until I started my post. Sorry!! And you can't see the shimmer from the spritz either!!

Cricut Cardz Challenge #56

I've been so busy with other projects that I'm really cutting it close this week with Cricut Cardz challenge this week. You have until midnight tonight to get your card linked!! The theme this time is to make a New Year's card and to incorporate a clock image from any cartridge. I used the pocket watch from Old West cartridge. I cut it from this neat blue with white swirls and things on it. Sorry, can't remember who makes it. I used little black half pearls where the numbers would go and a blue one in the center of the hands. I also laid the hands so that it almost midnight! Then I cute some party horns and streamers and things from Simply Charmed cartridge. I pop dotted all of these on the front. I also did some faux stitching. The bg paper I used is BoBunny-Peacock Lane Stripe. I put the sentiment on the inside. It is just a wooden stamp. I didn't put a year on here so that I can use this card t send at the end of this year!! Ya'll still have time to get a card made and link it up, so go for it. Hope ya'll like my card!! :)

Paper Playtime Black, Silver and White Challenge

It's Monday again and we all know what that means!! This week is Queen Team 2's turn at Paper Playtime
Our challenge for this week is to make a project using the colors black, silver and white only. Now, do you know how hard that was for me?! I pulled different cardstocks out with thoughts of using them but couldn't come up with anything. After about a week I came up with this layout. Used black for the bg so it looks like it is night time. I cut the Snowpeople from the Snowfriends cartridge. They are naked 'cus I couldn't use any colors on my layout! LOLOLOL!!!!! I did use some half black pearls. I used Peachy Keen Happy Lashes Assortment stamp set for their faces. I colored their noses and tongues with a Metallic Silver Prismacolor Color Pencil. Winter Wonderland was cut from Wrap It Up cartridge. It is cut from Silver Sequins that I got from Hobby Lobby. The snowflake is where I will put the photo. The hills were cut from the Country Life cartridge. I used Pearl Glimmer Mist on the Snowpeople and the hills. And then when I got everything put together, I misted the whole thing. Although you can't tell it in the photo. Our sponsor this week is Cahterine Pooler. She is an Independant Demonstrator for Stampin' Up! She will give one lucky person a wood mounted stamp set called 'Of The Earth'! How exciting!! So you need to get to creating anything made from paper using only black, silver and white and hop over and link it up! That's the only way to be in the draw for the prize!! You have until midnight Saturday January 15th to enter!! Hope ya'll like my layout!!!! :)

Flaunt It Fridays Hello Kitty Blog Hop

It's finally here! My first project for the DT for Flaunt It Fridays and we are doing a blog hop!! I am soooo
excited!!! Now if you arrived here from Pam's blog then you are in the right place. Her projects are just awesome aren't they?!  But if you just happened up by chance, go here and start from the beginning. You won't want to miss any of the fantastic creations the DT has made to inspire you! Now if you do get lost, check at the bottom of my post and you'll find a list of all the blogs in the hop. We have 32 DT stops! So you have 3 days to complete the hop. January 7-10!! For this challenge we were asked to 'Flaunt' Hello Kitty with Airplane on page 65 from the Hello Kitty Greetings cartridge. Those that don't have this cart were to use similar cuts from other cartridges. The other project we can use any cut from the cart that we want. I did a layout with Kitty in the plane. I laid everything out in my Gypsy Girl. I cut Kitty in the plane and all the layers at 7 inches. I hid stuff from different cuts so I could get the colors that I wanted. The cloud is also from HKG page 66 and I cut it at 4 inches. It's kinda hard to see the cloud because it blends in. I did do some inking around it. It's in the top right hand corner shere that big space of white is. That is where I will put a photo. The sentiment on my layout is computer generated and then punched out with a EK punch. 'Come Fly Away With Me'  The cloud bg cardstock is from American Crafts-Everyday Howdy.
I used Hello Kitty with the balloons(pg. 39) for my card which is my other project. I also laid it out in my Gypsy Girl. Everything was cut at 6 1/2 inches. I hid balloons so I could have different colors. Then I used Glossy Accents to give them some shine. Then I cut Happy Birthday from HKG also(pg. 38) at 2.19 inches. The bg cardstock is from MS Playful Blue and Green Paper Pad. One of our Granddaughters is having a birthday this month so this card will be for her.
I sure hope ya'll like my layout and card!
Thank you for taking the time to hop along with us for the Flaunt It Friday's Hello Kitty Blog Hop. We can't wait to see how you 'Flaunt' your Hello Kitty this week at Flaunt It Fridays

Flaunt It Fridays Challenge #5

This week over at Flaunt It Fridays the challenge they have put out is to 'flaunt' the martini cut on the From My Kitchen cartridge on page 60. You can make any type of project you like with this cut (but if you don't have this cart, find something similar on another cart to use), but they challenge you to make something other than the type of project you made last time, although this is not a requirement. Since I made a little bag last week, I made a layout this week. 2011 was cut from Wild Card and the bubbles were cut from 3 Birds on Parade. I used Peachy Keen Happy Lashes Assortment stamp on my martini glass and Peachy Keen Snow Cutie Face Assortment on the bubbles. I did some inking and some doodling and faux stitching. The bg paper is from sei-Playday paper pad. The space in the right bottom corner is for a photo. You have until Thursday to link a project for this wonderful challenge! Come Friday, there will be a blog hop! It will be my first project being on the Design Team! I am sooo excited!! Hope ya'll like my layout!!! :)

I have a winner!!!!

Paper Playtime Challenge #32

Happy New Year Everyone!!!
It is Monday so that means a new challenge over at Paper Playtime This week Peachy Keen Stamps (the most awesome stamps on the planet!) is the sponsor and the prize to one lucky winner will be a Peachy Keen stamp set!!! Sooooo, this weeks challenge is to do a paper project using faces. Now, everyone doesn't have Peachy Keen stamps, so if you don't, use some faces from one of your Cricut cartridges! You can make any project that you would like from paper. A card, layout, 3-D project, altered item, etc. It just needs to have a face!! I used 3 Birds on Parade cartridge this week and made a card. I used Glossy Accents on the raindrops and did some faux stitching and a little doodling with a white gel pen. I used Peachy Keens Everyday Character Face Parts and More Stamp set for the face on my bird. I filled in the beak first with a yellow gel pen and then with an orange one and the eyes with the white gel pen. The sentiment is computer generated and punched out with an EK punch. The bg paper is just some open stock that I had picked up a good while back at Hobby Lobby. I thought it would work for this card 'cus it kinda has a stormy look to it. Now it's your turn to create! You have until Saturday January 8th at midnight to link your creation. And while you are there, check out what Design Team 1 has created to inspire you! Hope ya'll like my card!! :)
